I do believe there's interesting stuff you can do with Robocop again, given the right creative team and approach, I just don't trust that Amazon and this showrunner are it.

That was actually my introduction to the franchise as a kid, don’t remember much, tbh.

There were two Robocop series, one in the 90' and one in early 2000.

I think people tend to forget that the first one really works because it's clearly a Paul Verhoeven movie. None of the other movies or shows were able to recreate it. (I do like Robocop 2, but it's not on the same level)
