Rocksteady's Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League

No one wants to genuinely Kill the Justice League. That's the problem. Even in Mortal Kombat vs. DC, they took out the MA fatalities. In Injustice, they set up an AU universe, so it's not ACTUALLY Superman who goes nuts and crazy. And the prime universe heroes go to stop Superman's regime.

I doubt people would've been that upset when they realized they didn't genuinely kill the Justice League and they were clones or evil doubles.
Sure, but it would still have made the whole premise pointless and that is something people also dont like.
There was really no way to win on that.

People would have complained either way, because then it would have been "Why do they sell it as if we can kill the justice league when we cant"?
Its one of those "damned if you do and damned if you dont" situations.

But you could have made it work better if the storytelling wouldnt have been so clunky and the game wouldnt have been a loot shooter live service game.

I mean isn't it already rendered pointless by this recent reveal that we've technically known about from leaks for a while?

I'm not sure I agree because many of the arguments defending the game were like, "Well, they marketed it as Kill the Justice League, so we really do have to do it!"

Makes me wonder if his contributions to the earlier Arkham Trilogy were just pure luck or overstated.

I mean, they wanted to try a different game than the Arkham games. Rocksteady stepped outside its wheelhouse.

And they did a terrible job of it, especially managing the whole process. Not to mention, Sefton Hill abandons ship before it even gets released.

So did Rocksteady really retcon Mr. Freeze to be a woman or is this multiverse shenanigans? What's the story?

Multiverse...everything about this is multiverse.
Its Freeze from a different universe, same as the joker.

In the multiverse, after Arkham Knight (2015), they released a game for Superman (2018), Wonder Woman (2021), Aquaman (2024), The Flash (2027) and Justice League (2030).

Saw a few people on Twitter celebrate this, and im disgusted.
Unless its CEOs who are fired, you dont celebrate any lay offs.
These people worked hard to make the best with what they got...and are now fired because as usual, CEOs made bad decisions.
They fire people from the Quality assurance Team, the ones that are the least to blame since the games quality in itself is fantastic.

The only ones who should have been layed off after the flop, should have been the CEOs...the ones who saw this game and thought it would make them Billions.

Its such a damn shame and i hope those layed off, find new work.

One of them was on paternity leave. So yeah, there is nothing to celebrate about this. Its a **** situation all around.

We don't need a remake of Arkham Asylum.

Give us a new Batman game series that captures the essence of the character, and hire a REAL writer to write the story (instead of outside consultant groups/firms). Paul Dini's contributions to the first two Arkham games shouldn't be ignored. His contributions to Batman in general put him on the mount-Rushmore of Batman writers, which is why those first two games felt authentic to the character.

The AAA game industry needs to value story and character in single player games, and passion for games and the source material, instead of corporate bull****.

Oh God. Please don't remake Arkham Asylum. I am begging you. I'll even play Suicide Squad if you don't remake Arkham Asylum. PLEASE DON'T DO IT.

One of the worst "Pick me" grifters out there who never once had any source on anything.
Why she decides to try and be a leaker, i dont get... Is right wing grifting Not paying enough?

Either way, fake as it gets.
She has no clue about anything, hasnt played SSKTJL or any batman game etc.
Just a lousy grifter.

this game is having more content? I thought it was dead

They will finish their initial Post launch content that already was worked on.
I dont know how much that is however, if Deathstroke is the last one.

Sooooooo.... I got a urge to go through an Arkham game again and rather than go through four games I've 100% completed, I decided to give Gotham Knights another try. Its kinda sad that the B team game has more interesting content the A team. GK isn't nearly the train wreck SS turned out to be. Hindsight is everything lol.

I am surprised as well that this game continues to get updates, but its better than nothing for those who purchased this.

Its always good when a game gets to finish his post launch content, no matter how good or bad it is.
People worked on it and all that, so they should be allowed to finish what they started.
But seeing how Sony cut down a game like Concord after 2 weeks...you gotta appreciate WB kind of, for letting Rocksteady finishing their Post launch content instead of doing the same and fully focusing on the next game.

I kinda wish Crystal Dynamics released all those dlc characters they've planned for Marvel's Avengers. Even though I didn't bother to reinstall the game later on and I've missed playing Winter Soldier and Jane Foster.
