Romance anime!

Well. This is a thread devoted to the type of anime i like the most.
Anime as in... not hentai. Cause hentai is my first. t:

Anyway...
Romance anime. What makes the good ones good?
Love triangles... Oh yes. They can get very intense. Usually because of how oblivious or dumb the character is but w/e..

Here are a couple of the romance animes that i have loved.
Top best
1. Tokimeki Memorial ~only love~ - One word. Godly.
2. School Days - If i remember right, the love triangle was between 4 girls.
3. Suzuka - The main character was ******ed but it was intense at times.
4. Chobits - Erm.. I've really only seen like 6 romance anime ever... LOL

There was one where a Physics teacher and his student were married and they tried to keep it secret...

If anyone know any good ones that i haven't listed please tell me.
I do recommend Tokimeki Memorial and School days to anyone.

Tokimeki Memorial ~only love~ may seem a bit childish from the way it is drawn or what ever it may be. I thought it was a great romance.

School days... oh school days. Guy was jugglin' like 4 girls. That right there makes it good. I recommend it.t:

Kare Kano sounds pretty good.

Tokimeki Memorial~only love~ is a must watch. It's intense and i greatly recommend it.

Anime wise my favorite would be Kare Kano. Manga wise my favorite is I's. Over rated wise my least favorite is DNA2.

i'd count tenchi as romantic...

The third movie is heavily romance with a bit of buddy movie mixed in, but I don't know on the series, there is romance involved some but a lot of it(especially the girls outside Ryoko and Ayeaka) are purely sexual/superficial attractions, not exactly romance

Kare Kano is the best romance animes, perhaps even one of the best romance stories period

Also, Suzuka is freaking depressing. I hate all those annoying whining high school teens. Especially Yamato who is this gifted track runner that has all these hot girls fawning all over him, and he doesn't even notice.

Agreed, if not for those lengthy recaps, those filler episodes and that one cut-off episode and an actual ending like in the manga and it would've be spot on perfect

Oh Suzuka... Lol. Although the main character is so dumb founded. It sort of adds to the intensity of the romance. Sometimes though, he's just ******ed.

Suzuka is on my top like 6.

Go to Otaku-station.com to watch it. As well as other great animes.

Unfortunately I didn't get past episode 15, because I no longer have On Demand. Even considering that and the recaps, I still like it a lot better than most romance anime. Fufumofu and Super Gals are close seconds anime-wise. Have you seen those?

No, i've only just recently started watching romance anime.
So i've only gone through a couple of series...
Lol School Rumble... Going into a 3rd season. I love it.

Super girls sounds like it would be like "High school girls" That anime was so weird... It was based on a girls prospective but i think they took that i little bit far. Lol, you'll know when i say the word blood.
Not that it's unnatural, just the fact that it was surprising to see it in an anime...

I could never get inot of Super Gals but I never heard of Fufumofo. What's that about.

It's a funny romance/comdey about a former mech pilot who tries to adapt to life in high school. The guy is.... lets just say he hasn't adapted to life off the battle field yet. Alot of situations of girls crushing on him end up being mis interpritted by him as acts of terrorism or something. It's hilarious.

My top favorites are

Video Girl Ai
A broken but kind hearted boy's sadness over the fact that the girl he likes was rejected by his best friend gives him a membership to a video store where the girl he chooses comes to life from his TV and is there to help him climb himself back up from the bottom

DNA^2
A girl from an over populated future caused by the "mega playboy" who impregnated 100 women, and out of the boys, they would commit they same deeds and so on, and this girl has to go back to "the source" and stop him from going out on his conquest, but the boy before his "development" has an "allergy" to fan service. Despite how history depicts him, he is still a nice boy and ends up falling in love with the girl who was sent to stop him.

Marmalade Boy
A girl falls in love with her step brother, but she still has a crush in her childhood friend, and then her step brother's ex-girlfriend comes in and is still after him, and then the girl's crush's cousin is after the ex-girlfriend and it goes on

Fushigi Yuugi
A girl who is trapped in a book about ancient China and she falls in love with one of the characters, but another character, the emperor falls in love with her. But it also has action and adventure

Imouto ni Koi****eiru
A story of how twin siblings, a boy and a girl, fall in love, and yet talks about the moral conflict of it

Onegai Teacher
The sequel, Onegai Twins sucks monkey balls, but this one was really good because I like how the characters more

Gundam 08th MS Team
Not necessarily a romance anime, but I liked the romance behind it

My favorite moment was where Sakura and Tsuba? kiss. It was really cute.

The beginng where Yuki hates Arima is so funny and cute though.

But when they do it's really touching.

Also for this genre, KAGE KARA MAMORU is a fantastic, hilarious show.

A teenage high schooler named Mamoru from birth has been raised as a ninja in his ninja family to protect their neighboring family, but they have to do so in secret. Mamoru's family live as an average, suburban Japanese family that secretly protect their neighbors all throughout the day using their ninja arts.

Mamoru is charged with protecting Yuna, who is also his best friend. Yuna is a clumsy dunce and airhead (despite being an academically strong student), and she also likes Mamoru. Soon a bunch of other characters show up and get involved with Mamoru and they fall for him (all female). One is a hot samurai girl, another is Mamoru's ninja 2nd cousin, and another is a ninja from a rival clan to Mamoru's family. The final one is Yuna's rich best friend, that hangs out with her to be closer to Mamoru.

Really hilarious show. I'm saddened no one's licensed it yet, really clever, and funny but also nice and short. Doesn't take forever to watch.
