If you're married or living with your significant other, it don't really apply. But if you're single, do you have a roommate or do you live alone? Currently I'm living solo in a duplex...the rent would be easier with somebody else, but I prefer having the spot all to myself so I can invite over who I want and don't have to kowtow to another's whims...until the gf finally coerces me into letting her move in..gasp.:csad:

Don't let her move in, it's a nightmare that never ends.

Roommates sucks...I would rather live with a wookie :cmad:

I live alone. Living with another person would just be weird to me at this point, but there are a couple of people that I would consider being roommates with...the break in rent would be nice.

I'm living alone right now, but my best friend moves in come September. I enjoy being alone most of the time, but I get bored pretty easily.

I live alone and I wouldn't want it any other way.

Alone. I invite friends over all the time, but I've tried rooming with a few in the past and it doesn't work. In a house, with more space, it might be different but apartments are too small. Plus, I like to lounge around in my undergarments and that usually doesn't go over well if you're sharing space.

Had roomates from the time I was 19 all the way to the age of 26. I am not having another f-ing roommate. Unless it has breasts, & wants to f*** me.

i liked living with roommates, but i prefer living alone now. It's just nice to be able to go home and actually have total privacy, yo're roommate not there listening to music too loud or has one of his friends over that you hate). That plus the fact that the place stays as clean as you personally want it to be. I like to keep my place clean, but hate it when my old roommates would leave a ton of dishes in teh kitchen. Now, i know that if it's messy, it's my own damn fault.

When you hit your late 20's, I think it's time to give the same sex roommate thing a rest. Unless you're just that strapped for cash. If you're that old and worried about being alone in your own place, I think you have bigger issues.

I live in a 4-room condo, and thanks to roomies I can afford such luxuries as cable, hi-speed internet, garage, pool, ...not to mention I have money left over for food(!). I pay utilities at 75% off.

Honestly, it's just too expensive to live on your own in America. Living with others is the way to go

I was always under the impression you were married terry?

I've done both, and if I had to choose, living alone would be my choice. Sure, it can be a bit more rough money wise, but atleast you know about what you are dealing with on a monthly basis. And alot less potential drama as well. Which can get old, very quickly.

You think so? I must admit my roommate across the hall moved her guy in and it was clearly a mistake; he's a really angry, unpleasant person and she's gotten herself into something bad.

But I was seriously considering moving my guy down in Phoenix up here with me. Of course, I think I choose my knights better than she does, but maybe I'm missing something here...

Being a good judge of character is definately a step up. Something I certainly cant say I was infallible at. :o

women will try to move in slowly,if she leaves articles of clothing at your pad or leaves things in the bathroom,toothbrush,make-up ect.. give it all back...don't be a jerk about it and say"get your crap outta here" just be like...Oh you left some stuff here, let me get it for you so you don't forget to leave it behind again. She'll get the hint. I'm currently living alone for the last 6 years or so and I love it.
