"We are hoping, depending upon everyone's schedule and other aspects of what it is they want to do with their careers, that we're going to get most if not all of them who are alive back. Meaning "alive in the movie", not really alive… sorry.
The Batman said:considering no one significant really died in the movie, Two Face is pretty much right. Ra's death is ambiguous at best. And considering that ressurection is apart of the character, in every version, its not for nothing.
but i forget, you're not an actual bat fan. you just like the movies.
XCharlieX said:I am a batman fan. I could easily say you are most definitely a comic fan that puts it above the dignity of how the story is presented and maintains its class, which is not a wise fan i would say. Ras al ghul is likely dead because this crew may not have that weird logic. Comic fans enjoy the ambiguity and using it to drag on an idea until it gets old, but thats not what a film maker as a class act should do so liberally as the comics.
Excel said:hes saying ras wont be back
The Batman said:Did Nolan say Ra's was officially dead? Did Roven? No...they did not
The Batman said:except....ressurection is apart of Ras al Ghul...since you dont know anything about Batman outside the movies, im not surprised. its a little something we call the lazarus pits.
XCharlieX said:And thats translated to the comic book writers excuse to keep a character alive because theyd regret it later when they ran out of things to write about. Movies are not the comics. Theres an end to movie narration (when taken the classic approach to films) Apples. Oranges.

The Batman said:It dosent matter if movies arent the exact same as the comics. when adapting ras al ghul, if they simply want him back, they'll use the lazarus pits. period.
The Batman said:By the way, movie characters like jason, mike myers, and freddy krueger have comic book style ressurrections all the time

DA Harvey Dent said:Doesn't matter. The Ra's storyline was sufficiently wrapped up in BB. IMO, it makes zero sense to bring Ra's back - his purpose was to help bruce wayne overcome his fears and anger and help him channel that into something positive. Ask yourself what purpose would Ra's have on the character of Batman now? nothing. At most, MAYBE taylia may make an appearance, but I doubt it.

From a practical standpoint, the lazarus pits can't exist in Nolan's world of realism. Ra's is gone - GAME OVER, DEAL WITH IT!
The Sage said:Oh I dunno...introduce Talia...Ra's realizes that despite Bruce's defiance, he's still the only one worthy of taking over his empire...
