Despite being liberal in his youth, James Cagney became conservative in his old age and contributed to Ronald Reagan's campaign, whose trickle down economic policies continue to screw American workers to this day.

It's weird, because it's engagingly written, beautifully photographed, and well directed..but it kind of leaves me cold-pun almost intended :p

Like it's "art over emotion." Also Jarre repeating the same musical theme for nearly 3 hours is something that could be a dealbreaker.

I like Bridge on the River Kwai much more than Zhivago.

    - Me neither:yay:

    - I also don't have anything negative to say about Precinct 13 , except maybe that I like Rio Bravo better. A film so good Howard Hawks remade it twice:woot:

Jacques Dutronc would have been amazing as Belloq, and Klaus Kinski also probably a better Major Arnold Ernst Toht.

I can’t help it; every time someone mentions Schindler’s List, I always think of that Seinfeld episode.

I have to see this one, I heard it's really good and it has a great cast, but I am not crazy in general, especially lately, about films with "charismatic hitmen." There are exceptions though like:

Sexy Beast (Which is more of a gangster film maybe.)

Sexy Beast creeped me out. All those scenes with Ray Winstone and his pool boy made me think he was a pedophile.

He makes perfect sense as Blomkamp's right hand man, but I still have no clue what them Marvel movies were thinking nabbing this guy as the cinematographer.

Was it such a good film? Anyway, to each its own and I like the theme music from the TV show which I think they used in some capacity in the film.

I know hardcore Evil Dead fans love the first two movies, but I honestly find them boring as hell. They’re basically each two hours of Bruce Campbell screaming and falling down. I didn’t care for the franchise until Army of Darkness.

Maybe Sergi Lopez is a little bit one-note, kinda like Shannon in Shape of Water, but both films are great nonetheless.

Christopher Nolan is apparently obsessed with covering Tom Hardy's face for 99% of movies.

    Lol.
The Truman Show is great but I somehow feel like it could have been greater, I don't know how or how to explain why though:woot: It was maybe missing something for me to be in the same league as "Network" or "Dr. Strangelove." Speaking of old movies:

Frankenstein's fiance was too quick in switching to another man. Experienced his penis once and that is all she needs to marry the creature.
