Just reading some noob threads and posts and I got to thinking, should we have a list for these guys? And if so, what should the rules be?

    Your thoughts???

No, because everyone has been "new" at one point and it perpetuates a cycle of abuse and segregation

To play as a Noob, you must be playing against another human opponent. Pick Kainedamo and, immediately before round 1 starts, hold Back + Low Punch + Low Kick + High Punch + Block. If done correctly, Kainedamo should explode into a Noob.

Not complaining about noobs, just noticed all of the posts where a Noob creates a thread that already exists, and then gets ragged on. It made me wonder if there sould be a list of rules/guidelines for those new to the boards.

You mean like the FAQ (frequently asked questions) at the top of every single page? Or the thread stickied at the top of the technical support forum authored by Malice that says if you have any questions about avatars, signatures, etc....look in here?

Ban them (or us) from going in the same swimming pool as you, when a long timer enters a bus, we should stand up and give you our seat.

    Noob rules

    1. Don't make threads.

    2. When in doubt refer to rule #1

Hell, no. There's a very effective screening process in place to weed out the idiots and morons when they first sign up. If they are observant and figure out the culture here and how to be an effective part of it, they're welcomed. If they don't and just make stupid threads and generally stink on ice, then they're ridiculed and punished. It works well.
