Yeah I just don't think it's right that these same writers and producers feel like they can create as many versions of the character as they want. They established their Batman for today's generation. And now they want to create another Batman of theirs for this generation.

It feels greedy like "Batman is mine, all incarnations, all versions! I can make one, retire one and make another!"

And if I were Bale I'd compare Tobey Maguire to RDJ and ask myself which has the better career right now.
