Rumor: CVG: No Mario Galaxy, Prime 3 or Zelda: PH til Xmas 2007

Reliable sources close to Nintendo have told CVG that Super Mario Galaxy and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption on Wii, and Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass on DS will not see light of day until Christmas 2007, which could mean anything from October to December.

Mario Galaxy, I can wait, mostly because I knew it was a while before it came out, but MP3...grrr.

The only way they can make it up is by getting Super Smash Bros Brawl out sooner.

I can only wonder what this means for Smash Bros. Galaxy was in development long before Brawl was. I seriously doubt the game will be out in spring. I'm betting its online issues that are causing possible delays. A 2008 release? Damn.

This is the kinda thing that has worried me all along. It's not just the Wii, but every system. We'll get those first couple months of good games, but then nothing to hold us over for a long time. If this proves true, then Nintendo better have an ace up its sleeve, whether it be the VC or some other games.
