Here's the question: why are we certain it's from a Superman game? Considering the format of the bio and list of powers, I feel like this player card is more appropriate for a game in which Superman isn't the star. Like a Justice League game, or, as someone else suggest, Injustice 2.

I'm expecting it to be a Superman game. Hopefully a good Superman game. Not a GOTY worthy Superman game because I feel like that's way too much to ask for since Supers has had ****** games.

But if it's as well received as let's say Arkham Origins or Spidey Shattered Dimensions, I would be happy with it.

I just want to see them take another crack at it. May the chips fall where they may, but I want them to try.

Interesting if it is WB Montreal. I think that could mean the end of the Arkham series, and signal the absence of a Batman game for years.

Yeah that's what I was thinking as well. Looks like a character select screen or something.

well, if it is indeed real, the one thing we can say for sure is that it is coming to the X1, judging by the buttons.

so, if it is Injustice 2 instead, that's good news because Injustice was only released for the PS4.

if it's an open world Arkham style Justice League game, I'd still take that if it means freely switching between character and having the chance to free fly as Superman in an open world city.

still, though, I hope it's a Superman solo game.

Batman got his chance to shine with the Arkham games. It's about damn time Superman got his chance!

Doesn't seem like any kind of Fight game screen I've ever seen. A fighting screen character menu would need to be way more streamlined than that, without having a 'skin menu'.

The rumor of it being a Superman game is partly us projecting what we want, but also it only being a screen of Superman, too.

And not that it needs to be said, but I want there to be the co-existence of Batman and Superman games. Don't make it an either or. That'd be unfair to Superman to lay down all that baggage on his game. That, and it could be a great balance. Instead of trying to fill the space between Batman games with another Batman game, putting Superman game there instead could be great. Having them compliment eachother and either Batman games has something to fill the void as Superman fans wait for the next one, or having a Superman game to fill the void for Batman fans as they wait for the next Batman game.

That would be an interesting approach and avoid the bi-yearly or annualized approach that might otherwise be tempting for WBIE.

Of course, it's a great theory on paper I think. The key ingredient would be give the Man of Steel his due, of course.

I hope it will be open world like Superman Returns game. The main difference should of course be that this new one is good.

wasn't there a recent job posting from Montreal Games suggesting they are working on a new open world game.

some people were speculating it would be for a Superman game......so maybe this is it?

isn't Kal El supposed to be spelled Kal-El?

if this were real, I doubt they would make such a misspelling.

You know, I think it's 100% real. It's ****ing coming. A Superman game.

Injustice 2 doesn't make sense. NetherRealm made MK9 in 2011, Injustice in 2013, and MKX this year. That's a 2 year development cycle.

Rocksteady just finished Arkham Knight so no way it's them.

WBM has been quiet since 2013 when they released Arkham Origins. I think a Superman game is ****ing coming guys. WBM is doing an open world game and Superman, Flash, and Green Arrow makes the most sense. Suicide Squad doesn't make sense for an open world game.

I'm predicting an announcement within the next few months with a released date around the time Batman V Superman will be released on Blu-Ray/DVD like what they are doing with the upcoming Mad Max game releasing it around what could be the Fury Road's DVD/Blu-Ray release date.

Oh my God, a Superman game may actually be happening.

But if we find out this was all a cruel prank, there's a special place in hell for the *****e who created the bio.

I want this to be real just as much as you.

the fact that there's also a gif with the character model moving does lend credence that it could be real.

otherwise, it would be an even more elaborate fake than a simple photoshopped image.
