RUMOR: Warhawk going multiplayer-only??

I just heard a rumor off the wire about the possiblity of Warhawk on the PS3 going Multiplayer only. Take this for what you will.

"(the) singleplayer part of Warhawk for PS3 has been scrapped in favor of a multiplayer only version. No reason why as of yet, of course if I hear more I'll send word. Apparently one of the main reasons for the games big push into '07 was they liked Factor 5's sixaxis control scheme for Lair better than their own and are adapting Lair's controls to fit Warhawk."


A quick check of EB Games release dates put Warhawk on June 1st 07'.

Sounds kinda fishy, but if it is true, that is just stupid.
