The drawings are (obviously) just re-creations of existing comic art. I like to train my hand that way, and give my own spin to the shading.

It is indeed. I haven't until recently had much of a 'body' of fanart work, so I waited until I had something to show. Most of my work is non fanart.

Thanks. Its still a work in progress, but the brunt of the imagery is laid down now.

Fantastic. so many tones going on in the fire that it's easy to lose yourself in them. i've spent the last 10 minutes just looking at the bottom quarter of the painting, and it almost works as an abstract piece on it's own.
Great work.
