Ryan Reynolds Will Cross-Dress to Win Back Ex
Source:Variety October 15, 2009

Variety is reporting that Allan Loeb will write an untitled comedy for Working Title as a star vehicle for Ryan Reynolds (Wolverine, upcoming Green Lantern).

The trade describes the film as a "dude-in-drag romantic comedy, with Reynolds playing a jilted lover who must disguise himself as a woman and befriend his ex in order to win her back."

Working Title partners Eric Fellner and Tim Bevan will produce along with Jonathon Komack Martin (Reynolds' partner in Dark Trick Films) and Steven Pearl (Loeb's partner in Scarlett Fire). Working Title has a first look deal with Universal.

Liza Chasin will be executive producer along with Reynolds and Loeb.

So.... basically this is Mrs. Doubtfire for younger, better looking people? Is that what this is?

Ryan can get some beauty tips from his wife ScarJo. :hehe:

Just what I was gonna say this sounds like Mrs. Doubtfire for the Romantic Comedy set.

totally should be a fun film. I wonder when they start shooting for it, since we know he is going to be doing gl in about 4-5months so will he do it before or after shooting gl.

"Guy-in-drag" hasn't been funny since Tootsie.

Good God Ryan, what the hell are you thinking?

Guy in drag hasn't been funny since Mrs. Doubtfire. :p

Good God Ryan, what the hell are you thinking?

Guy in drag hasnt been funny since Sorority Boys.

Good God Ryan, what the hell are you thinking?!

Shut up, that movie was hilarious.

Good lord, Ryan. You don't have to do every rom-com thrown your way, now that you have some clout in choosing your projects.

Juwanna Mann sucked. Sorority Boys sucked. Im ashamed to know they sucked. Not very confident in this movie even with Ryan Reynolds involved.
