Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced DVD ($24.96) and Blu-ray ($30.95) releases of S.W.A.T.: Firefight which stars Gabriel Macht, Carly Pope, Robert Patrick, Giancarlo Esposito, and Kristanna Loken. Each will be available to own from March 1st. The only extra material will be a Sharp Shooting: On the Set featurette.

The first SWAT was ok but do we really need a sequel? hey if Robert Patrick can bring some sense of credibility to the film then it must be good, oh and good to see the guy from The Spirit getting work.

Actually, while I don't have much faith in these, onc ein a while they can work. After all, I've heard nothing but good things for Death Race 2, most saying for a smaller budget and no big actors it was much better than the first.

I just wish that these B movies would stop casting "pretty people" and just cast unknowns who can act in the supporting roles. Granted, I haven't seen this movie, so I guess I can't comment on the acting in this but... that girl to the right. Give me a break. She is hot though.

Going back to that Death Race 2 trailer, it has Danny Trejo, Ving Rhames and Sean Bean how could this skip the theaters?

Oh well it is a prequel to DR so I guess there were lots of unanswered question as to where it all began.

I'm looking forward to Death Race 2 because there is a slight possibility it will be decent.

I hope S.W.A.T. 2 is decent for Gabriel Macht's sake . Casting Robert Patrick was a good choice but the last time I saw him was in The Marine , he deserves better.

I have already watched Death Race 2. It was actually pretty good. A fun movie.
