Sabretooth Wolverine's half brother?

Can anyone confirm the latest rumor that Sabretooth and Wolverine will be half-brothers? I'm hoping it's a false rumor.

The Dog Logan character and Victor Creed are one in the same in the film.

Logan and Creed are both the sons of Thomas Logan who is the guy getting stabbed by young Logan in the Trailer.

Thomas Logan like Logan and Creed has mutton chops and claws.

I think Thomas Logan was always a mutant.

they talked in X2 about how its the men of the families that carry the mutant gene, so having spawned two ferocious mutants i think connects well with him being one himself.

I like the fact that Creed is Dog Logan, it ties up alotta lose ends.

Considering some of the fantastical stuff happening in the movie which requires the suspension of disbelief, I dont see the problem with Thomas Logan being a mutant and having claws too.

In the grand scheme of things, is it that much of a big deal?

I don't know about this. He might always have been a donor or a carrier, but I don't think he ever manifested. In the comic he was run down, a tired drunk who was missing an awful lot of teeth. If he was a mutant, he never showed it.

I guess them being half-brothers isn't the worst thing. Maybe in the movie they don't realize they are but the audience does.

I like the idea of Sabretooth and Wolverine being brother, and having their father be a mutant doesn't really bother me.

But are Wolverine's claws at the beginning of origins, bone or adamantium? I couldn't tell in the version of the trailer I saw. I think it would be illogical and just plain confusing if they were adamantium when he was a little kid.

Wolverine starts off the movie with bone claws.

Jackman did say he liked the Origin miniseries alot, so there ya go.
