It's come to my attention that we have plenty of threads for people who hate what Bryan Singer, Chris Nolan etc. have done w/their beloved characters, where they can bash & ridicule the movies undefended. I think it's high time we had a strictly positive thread.

This is a spinoff of Chris Wallace's thread in the Marvel forum.

I enjoyed halle berry's body in Catwoman.:up::)

I should see V for Vendetta one of these days.

Batman Begins is great. Not for kids, but a good film nonetheless.

Batman Begins rocked. V For Vendetta was just wicked cool from beginning to end.

Not only do you spin off my thread, but you use the same wording. I'm flattered.

Yep... ive been needing to dvd it... sounds like it would be just my style.

I like DC movies. They could be better, but they're decent.

Well at least The Batman likes the flicks. I just feel people need to accept that what they want to impose on the film might not make it into the films, nor should there be a demand with a "gun" to the film makers head. Thats foolish imo.

No movie is going to satisfy every fan 100%. That's unrealistic. But like I said in the Marvel thread, we set our expectations based on what we think the movie should be & then get mad when they do something different.

Yeah, someone will ALWAYS be diasspointed. It's just going to happen.

The mission is to really please MOST of the fans, and leave the haters in the minority.

The problem I have is that when a movie tries to further the mythos or kick it up a notch, fans start to cry. Some fans just want a carbon copy of the comics they read, and that's kinda unrealistic to even want I think.

I think you're on to something. What are some cases in which you fell this has happened?

I've seen very little criticism of Batman Begins anywhere.

There's some. Comparatively little, but it's out there.

I still love Batman89

It's such a cool movie.

I try to criticize it as much as I can.

Most of the time people just whine about Rachael as the one thing wrong with it, but she's the least I thought was wrong. In fact, I thought she was damn graeat, but people still ***** and moan about her to this day and hope she doesn't come back. Those jerks.

Well for me some of my usual complaints are something like the editing was terrible, the story felt little uneven, not enough scarecrow, and oneliners really annoyingly bad.

I appreciate it more now though after seeing superman returns and realizing Nolan was attempting to do his own thing while crafting a proper batman for fans instead of lean on an older movie as a crutch to support his version.

So I watch it now with more appreciation of it and have decided to put the INWT in my sig.:)
