The Dark Knight Saints Row 2 treaser influenced by TDK teaser?

seems to me like the people in charge of Saints Row don't have an original bone in their body. first they bite off GTA hardcore, now they put out a teaser trailer that has no footage and is very reminiscent of the Dark Knight trailer....at least in my opinion...

...so what do you guys think? even though it's not exact, it's very similar. so are they biting off of the Dark Knight teaser or is it just a coincidence?

I wouldn't classify the original TDK teaser as original either. A voice over while the symbol deteriorates isn't exactly what I would call novel.

the TDK isn't very original, no, but the style is what made it different. i can't remember the last time there was a teaser with that kind of shimmering light in the background. regardless of TDK teaser being "original" or not...i still think the Saints Row teaser was inspired by the Dark Knight teaser, specifically.

Hey I liked the teaser, it got me pretty hyped to hear Heath's Joker laugh at the end, it was worth it for me just for that!

They both suck, honestly. The Saints Row people could have done better than to ape the TDK teaser.

Who cares? Saints Row was a pretty good game, that did alot of stuff better than the prevoius GTA games, but they pretty much f**ked themselves by releasing Saints Row 2 only a month after GTA IV, which looks to be possibly the greatest game ever made.
