Expanding a bit on why your favorite villain deserves a movie would be nice, folks.
What are you talking about?! Spot and White Rabbit FTW!

Taking out the quips doesn't make the fights any more epic. You can easily still have epic fights with them. In fact, adding the quips could have added a element of seriousness to the fights. It can show that Spidey's in real troubble. We all know Spidey's a blabbermouth, so when he actually stops talking during a fight, we know it's getting serious and he's getting in troubble.
If you want to make the fight serious, have Spidey start out the way he usually does, what with the quipping and all, and as it progresses and grows more violent, have Spidey start to shut up. Heck, in the comics when the villans are winning they usually comment on it, "where's you're little comebacks now Spider-man?" or something like that.
Taking out the quips added nothing to the character, it only served to make him more dull.
He couldn't have been more off on the character of Spider-man. In fact, Spider-man wasn't even a character, he was Peter in a suit, and that is not Spider-man.
Peter especially in his early years, became a different person in the Spider-man suit. Just like Bruce Wayne becomes a different person in the Batman suit. As Spider-man, Peter finally gets an outlet to express the confidence he doesn't have as Peter Parker. This is why Spider-man is a jabber mouth when he's fighting his enemies. That and because Peter has said that he thinks he'd go crazy from the fear of battle if he didn't run his mouth to distract himself.
The cocky attitude and quips are essential to Spider-man's character. Having Spider-man remain a near mute as he did in Raimi's movies isjust as wrong for the character of Spider-man as it would be to have Batman cracking witty one liners.
By basically eliminating this aspect of the character, Raimi failed to show us Peter's confident side, and it also removes a reason for people to believe that Peter is not Spider-man, because Spider-man is much more vocal and boisterous then Peter.
And in regards to the character of Peter Parker, Raimi barley showed us any of Peter's intelligence, and completley disregarded his engineering skills. Peter does not merley spout a few intelligent sounding sentences like he does in the movies, he actually creates and invents things. Raimi showed us none of that.
Also, by the time Peter was in colledge he much more confident as Peter Parker. Raimi didn't show us that either, he had Peter act the way he did in highschool, which wasn't accurate to the character.
Raimi did an average job on Peter's character, but he left much to be desired.
THANK YOU! That would absolutely rock! And it could be done!
I can also see a film with the Lizard and Kraven...
If you think about it Lizard in a movie would look pretty weird. Raimi might be worried that Lizard will cost too much and SM4 will flop because of disapointment with sm3
I would suggest Paul Haggis( Casino Royale, Million Dollar Baby, and Crash) to pen the script. The guy is a first rate writer . He knows how to blend action and emotion. Maybe along with Alvin Sergernt but keep Raimi away from the script imo.

Sinister Six? Raimi...
It's time for you to leave the franchise.
I want Lizard as the main villain. Throughout the film, Venom haunts Peter. Whether its in dreams or just walking down the block. Then Venom, towards the end, reveals himself, and fights spidey, but has to kill Lizard, too.
I don't think Morbius or Man-Wolf would work out too well on film. Spidey Films shouldn't be violent that much, they are fine the way they are IMO.I want Morbius and Man-Wolf in the next film.. make it much darker and violent..
I see your point, but I can't help but think that even the most devoted, creative attempt at quips, in a movie, would take it into Arnold as Mr. Freeze territory. Maybe the lack of quips doesn't make a fight more epic, but the presence of said quips would almost certainly lighten the fight up to the point where it would be difficult to take the drama seriously.
