anyone watch this? it comes on ifc. it's probably my favorite anime right now. the character designs are superb. it's really respectful to the old movie, while adding some great new twists and fleshing out the characters more.

I loved it. Don't have IFC anymore because the damn channel went premium ! But luckily I saw the fan-sub beforehand. I liked the the whole somewhat futuristic timeline they added. I just wished they could've changed the outcome of other characters besides the Rikichi & his wife.

They died in the movie yet live throughout the anime series. One person I really would like to have seen lived was Kyuzo. Dude was badass The newbie of the group, Katsushiro, was annoying as hell. He should've died

it's only got a few episodes left. they moved it to a different night, i got scared until i found it again... the dubbing is really good too. to think these are the same people that ruined dragonball z. funimation has come along way.

Haven't seen it yet its on my netflix list though.
