Samurai Jack

No Mako sucks, but at least we'll finally get an end to the series. But doesn't Tartakovsky already have a lot on his plate?

Good news. The creator mentioned doing a feature length bout 2 years good, cool to know they're finally getting off the brake.

Man I miss all these old cartoons.

 is this going to be a theater release?
Yes. Now if this movie is made it should be cool. I really hope the scotsman is in it for a team-up to help Jack. But I wonder how CartoonNetwork is taking it. Wouldn't they own the rights to the characters?

I'm not exactly sure they'd make this a theater release...

It is the articles about the company that is producing it states that there making 2d movies for theaters. And Jack is on the list of going to theater.

It might be a little more of a wait till we see a SJ movie since Tartakovsky is wokring on Dark Crystal 2 at the moment.

Which is why they said its going to most likely be the third produced.

Animated Samurai Jack on the big screen! wOAH! thats going to be so amazing.

PG 13, plz! or at least have an uncut version for a dvd release.

The show kicked so much butt, and than it just dissapaered for no reason. This thing be out proably, sometime next year? probly early or late, i dont think a summer release would be good, maybe May though?

"Oooo, thats sum taff tolek fa a man weardin a basket on 'is 'ed."

I really miss that show. It only had small amounts of dialogue, but the art and animation was so good they con convey emotion without it.

This toon was one of the best I've ever seen.
Did this show ever end properly, or was it a cliffhanger?

They just didnt end the show so there was no proper ending, and now cliffhanger ending. the last ep was just another mission jack goes on to get back home.

I wouldn't mind if this was a tv/dvd movie cuz it would kick azz either way.

Fantastic news.

Also, a hip-hop cartoon with Don King? Now that sounds like fun.

It was a while before I learned that Phil Lamar was the voice of Jack.

I'm disappointed they never did the animated feature they talked about years ago when the show first took off and was a hit. Would've been good if they did it while Mako was still around.

And hey, why not just try and use old stock clips of Mako for this movie?

Definitely got to get the Scotsman in there as well.

I remember at one point Brett Ratner was attached for a live action Jack movie. He talked about wanting Jackie Chan to play Aku.

The cartoon was never finished,it just dissapeared in 2004 i think.

indeed, and what a loss too. It was one of the last truly good cartoons of its time that was anime-inspired rather than actually being anime after Pokomen or whatever came in and completely ruined cartoons forever.
