Sequels Sandman Spin-off?

this might be a long shot by asking, but what do you guys think if the studio was to make a sandman spin-off movie from spider-man 3? perhaps involving silver sable and the wild pack or something. could show flints turn to the good side of the law like in the comics.
either that or he should team-up with spider-man in a future spidey movie
what do you all think?

Considering he's not actually a bad guy or sorts, it would be an interesting cocept to see him perhaps captured and asked to take on this ordeal in order to pay for his daughter's medication.

It's nice in theory and would perhaps play off nicely in a graphic novel but i don't think there is any demand to see it made into a feature length film.

I don't think it would happen and I don't think it should. Sandman is a great character though, but I just think that if there was a spin-off film then it would have to be a Venom spin-off film.

I would be more inclined to pass on this idea. But if the studio promised more THC, and absolutely no sandy Mr. Stay Puft along with a pretty good script .... then maybe.

is it me or am i the only one to notice that sandman killed tons of police officers destroyed private property and robbed multiple places and spiderman lets him go in the end i get that peter forgave him but he's still a criminal what ever his reasoning is. Sorry guys the sandman story sucked and seemed very rushed he should never be in another movie ever!

Did Sandman kill anyone? I know he tossed one cop onto a car from the sand truck, but I don't think he was dead. Just unconscious.

All the other cops were just swept off their feet in the sand storm. Hardly going to kill them. Sandman wasn't the killing type. He was wracked with guilt over accidentally shooting Ben Parker. He's hardly going to slaughter Cops.

Heck, when he first encountered Spidey he told him to leave because he didn't want to hurt him.

Magneto does indeed sound like a good movie, plus isn't Prof. X gonna be in it too? All I hope is that Goyer does a good job directing (he's directing, right?), cuz Blade Trinity was only a mediocre of a movie.

Wolverine sounds like a great movie too...I hope Gambit shows up as well.

A Sandman spin-off would be pointless. There is no room for the character to develop if they made this movie. Everything has been explained in SM-3.
