Scared to meet a fellow Hypester?

Among many thoughts, arguments, and discussions in the past - I've often thought if we - as a whole - are scared to meet one another.

Chances are, a Hypster lives around the corner, from all/each/one of us. Last summer, I had ActuallyRobin fly over from England and crash on my couch - for a week - to catch The Dark Knight's US Open, and enjoy a personal holiday.

So I guess I fall into the bracket of "unscared."

I'm sure some of us have already made personal contact, and some of us have actual friends whom post here.

I've said this many times, as have MrvlKnight21, that if we were every in the area of some of you guys, we would like to sit down, have a drink, eat a burger - whatever.

In short, I really want to meet Spoons. :heart:

I've met ActuallyRobin, been friends with Mrvlknight21 - before the Hype, and have talked to DaniPhantom, DBella, and Cory. I think that's it.

Yeah. These next two games - potentially - should be great.

There's a handful of people who I'd have no problem meeting at all. Hell, they know me about as well as my "real" friends do, anyway. I admit, though, I'd be pretty selective when it comes to who I'd actually want to meet.

Selective is fine. Obviously, I would not meet XYZ poster, because he or she notices I live in the same state.

But, like I said, if I were in a posters area, and had - even - a decent to semi relationship, I would PM to see if he or she wanted to grab lunch/dinner, before I headed out of town.

I would like a game that's close at the end, just for a change up. But yeah I agree.

Wouldn't mind it, I've said to a few people if they're ever in fort lauderdale I'd buy them a beer and introduce them to some shady women but I would NOT be cool with just meeting anyone from here. Some people here take themselves and a comic board far too seriously. If you can't take a bit of a ribbing or hit the bong and pound a shot, you probably don't want to meet me anyway.

A good chunk of us live in the same Chicago/Indiana area, but we just never got together, or we're too lazy to set up meetings.
