Quicksilver has been confirmed to return in X Men: Apocalypse, it made me think of which one of his sisters will be following him into the movie.

Could they introduce their own version of Scarlet Witch?

Or will they surprise us and introduce Polaris instead?

I prefer Wanda. If Apocalypse is the last movie with Fassbender, i want the twins with Magneto.

I prefer Wanda too. Well, if I could choose only one of them. But I want to see Polaris as well. In a X-Factor movie.

I'd be happy with one or the other, really. However, with Polaris you get a potential member of the X-Men, so I'm more inclined towards her.

I'd like to see Polaris because of the possibility of Alex returning, but however I'd like to see Fox's version of Scarlet Witch, if they have two Quicksilvers, why not have two Wandas.

Imagine Polaris's powers on the big screen with today's visual effects....awesome!

I wish the little girl from DoFP is Lorna. The deleted line from the script has the mother say go upstairs and bother your sister. And the little girl says she bothers me!

So age up her 10 years and have the whole Damn family together.

It wouldn't make sense. Magneto goes there, impregnate the woman, goes back 8 years later and impregnate her again? Nah. He would either know about Pietro or Lorna wouldn't be his daugther.

Wanda because green hair will look weird on the big screen.

No it wouldn't if they hire people who specialize in wigs, by that notice we couldn't get Storm,Psylocke etc because it would look weird.

Yea I agree the hair thing wouldn't be an issue at all. They could easily take a realistic shot on that.

By the way, if Marvel is doing this:

Fox shouldn't have a problem with a "green hair".

So true :oldrazz:

Sadly, they still have a ways to go. Quicksilver's hair anyone?

I prefer the magnetic Lorna Dane also known as Polaris.

I've never been a fan of Scarlet Witch and her mutant powers are still confusing to me. Also we are already seeing her in Avengers: Age of Ultron, so give her spot to someone we haven't seen before in the big screen.

I would go with Wanda because she and Pietro are like peas and carrots. Plus, it would give Bryan a chance to mess around with Wanda's powers. One of his greater strengths is finding creative uses of mutant powers and he's already done so much with magnetism.

I'm not sure they'd pull Lorna off because, well, as fans often note, X-Men is not very good with wigs (barely getting Storm's right and Quicsilver's being a tid bit odd), but that's not an issue. With the right depth of colour it could look ok.

They could easily pull off a dirty green-blonde like Ledger's Joker (above) or a really dark blue green like this one

But the best looks are metallic green or grayish/pastel green in tone to match her powers, but good luck with the GA!

Either way, I think she's best off a younger character in the future setting, as a next successor to Magneto in the future and a possible rivalry with Jackman's successor, X-23. In the past, we'd still have Fassbender to play Magneto whereas McKellen won't be in many upcoming films set in the future.

For these reasons, I'd personally prefer to see the twins QS and SW, but that's just me.

Lorna. She's rarely used

LOL...Storm's hair was terrible though. Her awful wigs were one of the things highly criticized about her. The only time I thought her hair looked decent was X3, when they gave up on trying to do a good long look for her and hacked it off for a shorter do

Psylocke's hair, also wasnt good. However her hair was just black with purple highlights. They didnt go full on purple as in the books

That's just because Singer dosent hire the correct people who can do wigs well because as was shown above if done right green wigs can work and I have seen believable white wigs. My point is it can be done right if the proper people are hired and that shouldn't be a reason to not introduce a character. I agree though I hated Storms wig and I have seen some good white wigs, idk his costume designer and wig person are just not up to par IMO.

I'd prefer Polaris. Not only is Marvel already using Wanda in AOU, but Polaris has been underused/disrespected for so long in the comics. Of all of Magneto's kids (not buying the retcon Marvel), she's the one that they use the least. Give her her shot this time.

I don't mind either Scarlet Witch or Polaris, if they can work them into the story.

From what I've seen, the Scarlet Witch in Avengers will be like Jean Grey with telepathic/telekinetic powers (but some sort of red energy signature) so there's still room for the 'proper' Wanda in X-Men.

Polaris could always be someone with slightly different powers to Magneto (maybe the forcefield and energy bolts this time, which Mags never has in the movies; and the comic book power of seeing the world as patterns of energy, which hasn't yet happened in the movies either). She could be someone he initially makes believe to be his daughter, rather than his biological offspring, which is what happened in the comics originally. There's ways of doing this stuff.

Scarlet Witch. Polaris is somewhat redundant as far as powers go, and I don't think they'd ever devote the time to properly developing and exploring the parental relationship unless it was in a solo MAGNETO spinoff.

Hated Lorna being related to Magneto in the comics (Wasn't that Chuck Austen's bull honkey retcon? :whatever:). Never cared for Pietro and Wanda being related either but that shipped sailed over 30 years ago. I just don't understand why characters can't just have surrogate familial relationships. It makes total sense given that they're social pariahs. But nope! Everyone has to be related to each other in the Marvel Universe for some reason. Wasn't Peter Parker supposed to be the third Summers brother? Thank you Marvel for at least showing some restraint there.
