You knew it was coming; David Zucker hopes to have the fifth intallment in the very successful 'Scary Movie' franchise in theatres by 2008. After Tuesday's episode of 'Dr. Phil', when Zucker offered a walk-on role in 'Scary Movie 5' to a woman afraid of horror movies, talks of the fifth installment spread like wildfire.

When asked if a script had already been started, director David Zucker responded, "You can't do anything of the actual script of it; you need to wait at least two years between the Scary Movies because there aren't enough movies coming out." He went on to say, "They could make any limit of Scary Movie's."

Bob Weinstein assured that David Zucker and Jim Abrahams, the team behind 'Airplane!', 'The Naked Gun', 'Scary Movie 3', and 'Scary Movie 4' would reteam for the fifth installment. Anna Faris assured us earlier this week that she wants to stay with the franchise until it dies.

After the Easter weekend box-office results were revealed, and 'Scary Movie 4' came out on top with a record-shattering $41,000,000, Paul Dergarabedian, president of box-office tracker Exhibitor Relations said, "I say the Weinsteins should be getting Scary Movie 5 through 10 ready right away."

Brace yourselves for 2008, when 'Scary Movie 5' creeps into theatres, allegedly spoofing zombie flicks including 'Dawn of the Dead', 'Land of the Dead', and 'Day of the Dead', as well as upcoming thrillers 'The Lady in the Water', 'Pulse', and, what David Zucker believes they will most surely spoof; 'Silent Hill'.

As long as they keep making horror movies they can keep making Scary Movie sequels. Which is pretty scary in and of itself.

But they're always good for a few laughs.....everything can't be high art and brilliant. They're dumb movies but harmless enough.

I guess there'll be Silent Hill pokes in it.

they should just combind all 4 together, and just do voice overs

Awesome, and love that zombies are going to be in part 5.

I may not completely agree with you with comics, I agree with this statement.

Scary Movie 4 was good, but 5? I will kill myself! When will they finnaly stop making sequels??!!?

Wow. It's actually pretty shocking that it's taken them five movies to get around to parodying zombie flicks.

If you've paid for a ticket, you're partly responsible.

Maybe so, but I'll stick with well crafted fare like Shaun of the Dead.

Anna Faris is kinda hot, but I heard SM4 sucked

Hooray, another highly anticipated sequel

The recent SM movies were rated PG-13 and although they're funny, any chance of future SM movies being rated R? you always need more d**k and fart jokes these days.

And it doesn't have to include the F-word every five seconds like Scary Movie 2 but do include toilet humor like Scary Movie 1.

Ah, the **** scene in Scary Movie 2... classic **** scene. I felt sorry for the toilet.

I just saw Scary Movie 4 and it was terrible, same old tiring jokes and even the actors look confused when they're saying their dialogue, the funny stuff was in the movie trailer.

2 and 4 sucked, 1 and 3 were funny maybe SM5 will be better.

They have to spoof SNAKES ON A PLANE. They just have to.

I wish the Wayans Brothers were back in it.
Scary Movie and Scary Movie 2 were the funniest to me.
Scary Movie 3 was a bit lacking.

Oh well, another hang-out movie to see on a Friday night with buddies in 2008.

SM4 wasn't bad, it got funnier from the middle to end. I don't mind another Scary Movie as long as Anna Faris is in it!
