Scenes in movies that should have been the template for future movies

Basically a scene from a movie that you saw and went, "if they ever make a movie based on *blank*, this is the way they should do it, or improve on it." I'm watching Matrix Revolutions on that Ion channel now, and the final battle in the rain between Smith and Neo is reminding how ****ed up the Dragonball movie was. With the budget they had, the fights should have been at LEAST on par with this, considering the source material. I know some people say this is how a future Superman fight should be also, but DBZ is the franchise that should take a cue from it, if they ever go back to that well.

I'm going to have to think about this. I desperately want to see The Stand on the big screen, but I'm going to have to re-read and consider this. Unfortunately, I've seen the miniseries, so I'll already have bits and pieces of that floating around in my brain.
