Arnold Schwarzenegger has signed on to star in and produce The Guest of Sanxingdui, a new 3D Chinese language feature which boasts a whopping $200 million budget.
At the same time, the former California governor has became an ambassador of the prehistoric Sanxingdui ruins that will feature in the film. Remnants of the lost Shu Kingdom, the 3,000 year old ruins are located in Guanghan City.
The director of the movie hasnt yet been named with filming slated to begin in March ahead of a 2019 release.
Chinese audiences love Arnie who appeared in last years Terminator Genisys which flopped in the U.S. with $89 million, but scored $113 million in China alone.
