Science teacher fired due to previous career as porn star

nobody wants to see your junk flapping in the summer wind

The birds and the bees could land on it too.

Letting your junk dangle freely around is just too dangerous. Especially if you own pets.

If she was actually a good teacher, I think it was a bogus decision. That career was behind her, isn't a person allowed to move on? Especially after 6 years?

A guidance counselor at a high school in my city was fired after it became known by some of her students that she used to work as a lingerie model 17 years previous. Bear in my mind that her past occupation was known when she was hired. The story ended up in the media and everything.

Are we the only species that doesn't do that?

I mean....we are seriously the only species on the planet who freak out about sex. It's not logical.

The only reason I can come up with is that it is some kind of self-defense mechanism against our insane sex drive. If we didn't invent reasons to not have sex, that might be all we ever did. So over time, maybe our brains started inventing the idea that sex is "shameful", "dirty", and "sinful" so we could get something else accomplished.
This is not a species-wide phenomenon.

I've had my junk swatted at by a cat and bitten by a rabbit (the bite was through my pants, mind you).

Why are you condemning the entire planet? The only people who have an issue with sex are americans and the taliban.

If we declared war on Victoria's Secret, we might actually have World Peace.

I think you may be leaving out two more continents.

Not having an issue with sex sure isnt helping africa.

Where would you even get the idea that Africans are free and easy about sex? Some of those countries in Africa make Utah look like Vegas. :o

I realize that. That's what I'm pondering. Why the heck do we care about something like that? We don't mind seeing someone's fingers or knees...it's just a body part.

And we also "don't want to see" female body parts as well. The vagina and boobs...what's the problem?
This is not a species-wide phenomenon.
I would say the vast majority of human beings feel they must cover up their "naughty parts", that sex is something that must be performed in private, and that sex is something children cannot be exposed to. I know there are nudists and certain cultures who don't worry about nudity...but aren't they the exception?

This sounds pretty familiar to me:
Both sang while scantily clad before 9 p.m., when kids were still tuned in.

X-Factor is under investigation by UK regulatory arm Ofcom after airing racy Rihanna and Christina Aguilera performances during what is supposed to be a family-friendly hour.

"Strip clubs, illegal clubs, rented ladies who are naked under their fur coats. Women were simply desserts, used as sweets to be served with the coffee," wrote Katrine Kielos in the daily Aftonbladet newspaper.

"The royal family has always been viewed as an august, fabulous family. But these allegations are so grave that our trust in them is seriously damaged," said Jenny Madestam, a political analyst. "The King is not even denying it."

In the gatehouse of the neighbouring villa, which serves as the town hall, Arcore’s mayor told of her dismay at the town’s sullied name.
“As a woman, I was totally ashamed by him,” said Mrs Colombo. “Arcore is not about this – Italy is not about this.
“I am a liberal person, and think that women can do what they want in private. But when you represent the nation, you have a duty to behave in a respectable manner. You represent Italy. You represent me. And it is not acceptable.

Early last month, rumors that both Sarkozy and Bruni were having extramarital affairs were started by a single tweet suggesting the former-supermodel-turned-singer was cheating with an award-winning French singer six years her junior. Sarkozy, meanwhile, was said to have found comfort in the arms of his ecology minister Chantal Jouanno, 40, who is married and a karate champion.

I can at least understand infidelity being "bad".
The president of Paraguay, who had already shocked his nation, and even the world, by confessing he had fathered a child with a young girl out of wedlock when he was a bishop, is facing a new paternity accusation.

The scandal may be more shocking than most to rock the political world because President Fernando Lugo was, at the time of the affair, a Catholic bishop and both of the young women were members of his flock.

Sex is "naughty" to a lot of people apparently.

It's the same deal with profanity. We make words up and then declare them "bad".

Literally the only reason they're "bad" is because we just decide they are. They're just words.

Then how come I almost get banned all the time? :word: See what i did there

According to a Nigerian professor I had, Africans can be extremely prudish about sex.
According to a Nigerian e-mail I had, I can get 15% of $12.5 million dollars if I provide my bank account number and agree to serve as guardian.

I don't understand what you're getting at here. Clearly there are many humans out there who are not ashamed on their sex, and flaunt it in public. Go to a gay pride parade and I think you'll find a lot of people who lack any sort of shame or modesty.

Maybe if the firing was specifically over the work she did for EatMyBlackMeat.com she could say it was racial discrimination.

It's ridiculous but we're warned about it all the way through student-teaching. You have to even be careful about what goes up on Facebook--pictures of your drunken reveling will prevent you from getting hired.

I personally don't have any kind of public Facebook stuff going on.

You must be a George Carlin fan? :)

I agree....same type of thing. It's funny to think about.

Many humans...yes I agree. I for instance think this whole thing with the teacher is illogical and stupid. She...had sex in a way where people could see her. :wow: Really? We are "offended" and "outraged" by that?

But I'm kinda the minority, aren't I?

I've been to a gay pride parade or two...even played music at a few of them. I assure you they keep the "naughty parts" covered. Maybe not of their own choosing (they would be arrested), but that's what society demands of us.

Well, blame our Puritan forefathers.

Well, blame our Puritan forefathers.
Seems like Europe and Asia have the same attitude, don't they?

And I mentioned my theory about why we started hiding our sex parts. Self defense against our insane sex drive maybe? The Puritans just made that part of the religion in my theory.
