The Dark Knight Score The Chase Scene!!

Try playing "Introduce A Little Anarchy" as background for the scene. It has almost the same time and pacing, right until the batpod emerges. Some parts match very good. You should start playing it right after the last shot of the flaming firetruck.

I actually did that last night! I just need to publish it and then upload it to YouTube!

It's a real shame the actual scenes didn't have any music to them, I'm reminded of the coolest scene in Star Wars A New Hope when the tie fighters attack the Millennium Falcon and you hear John Williams exciting score to it, it just woudn't be the same without music.

Celtic, this is some amazing work! I love the trasition you did from The Joker's theme right into Batman's Theme. Again, great work!

If i knew how to rip the scene from my DVD I'd take a stab at this.

Here is my version of the chase scene, heavily inspired by CelticPredator's awesome rendition. "Buyer Beware" fit so perfectly that no matter how much I didn't want to use it, I just had to. I think that may be our only same part. The "Bank Robbery (Prologue)" is probably different editing wise. Enjoy fellow board members. :brucebat::hoboj:

(I tried posting it using the YouTube button but it doesn't show up, what's the trick to getting the videos to show up on here?)

*UPDATE*
I re-exported with the volumes readjusted and I added a little something toward the end :)

Yeah, I dont know why I used Buyer Beware. I was just going through some tracks, and that seemed to have worked...

I like the beginning of Celtic's 2nd one right to the end of the scene with the batpod blowing up the cars...after that it just doesn't fit and detracts from the scene, IMO. The score there is too heroic, I guess, for such a tense and foreboding scene.

Nolan definitely knew what he was doing when he cut out the music. It works infinitely better the way it is. The high pitched strings and small amount of percussion used after the truck flips in the original works best, as well.
