Scream 5 in Development

Wow, they recreated a similar fan edit as a legit poster. I saw a fan made poster like that over a year ago.

I forgot this is coming out so soon! Can't wait.

Damn this is out in less than a month! I'm so ready. I, too, hope there's no more trailers btw.

I'm definitely gonna grab my opening night ticket soon. 7 PM!

If I wasn't fan of the series, these trailers wouldn't convince me to see this movie.

"this time it's different", yeah yeah...

I can't believe how soon this is coming. Really hope it's as great as it looks!

Out of all the slasher franchises, Scream is the one that I feel held up consistently through the sequels with Scream 4 being my favorite outside the original. So I definitely have high hopes for this one.

I can't believe it's been almost as much time between Scream 4 & 5 as there was between 3 & 4.

Viewer Anon has seen the film and said it's his favorite sequel, if I remember correctly. Here's hoping!

Honestly, I've enjoyed all the Scream films, even 3, so I'm sure I'm going to have a blast with it regardless. But I'd love to see this be a home run that brings the series back with a bang and gets more people into it. I also know VA has said this movie
addresses toxic fandom
, which REALLY excites me, but I also know this may cause some backlash. If anything though that could help the movie as it would get people talking. 4's problem was not enough people cared.

Oh this hurts...

I really hope this doesn't get pushed back due to omicron but I'd understand.

The main cast (Campbell, Cox, Arquette) are going to be on Colbert's late-night show this Wednesday: Late Night TV Talk Show Lineups Page

Colbert's show is good about uploading their segments to YouTube immediately after the show, so even if you miss the broadcast, won't be hard to catch 'em online.

Edit: looks like they canceled? They were definitely listed on that page back on Monday 11/3. In any case, looks like they have some other appearances coming up next week.

Scream 4 is also my second favorite.
