They don't look... thaaaaaat bad..

ya they look thaaaaaaat horrible!

lol though the blonde chick might make a great body for MJ... other then buffy...

The blonde chick is supposed to be Katchoo from the awesome comic Strangers in Paradise but it looks more like April O'Neil from the animated TMNT movie.

Unless these come out with some quality control issues, I'll probably be buying Shadowhawk and Scud. I'm gonna have to wait and see on the Maxx. He's not really outstanding at the moment, but he's still better than Kabuki and Katchoo.

Bwa Ha HHa Ha Haaaaaa!

And these are supposed to be thier Protos?

Oh man......that means the finals are gonna look horrible.

Wonder where buddy from shocker toys is now to trash talk fans with his supposed "proof" that these were going to blow us away.

the mcfarlane shadowhawk is light years better

I've already got that plastue. It's great in terms of sculpt, but useless for any posing. The new version from Shocker will at least allow me to position him how I want in my display. I thought that you, the grand poobah of posing, would at least be appreciative of that.

And regardless of how much people want to hate on Shocker, I haven't heard any legitimate complaints about Shadowhawk or Scud. Kabuki, Katchoo, and the Maxx all have some nasty sculpt and paint problems, but Scud and Shadowhawk are both solid figures that should turn out well in the end.

Shadowhawk is NOT a solid figure.....at all.....And Scud looks a lot worse now that he's painted

The sculpt on Shadowhawk is absolutely awful... what good is articulation if every pose you put it in looks like total garbage? Scud is an easy block like design, I could probably sculpt the same damn thing with some balsa wood and a few days time. And I'm not an artist by any stretch of the imagination. It's basic shapes, and not a challenge to make. That being said, I love the character of Scud, so I might steal one when they come out. I refuse to give money to these ****s.

Please elaborate on what exactly about Shadowhawk sucks so bad? Tiny feet? High belt? These are about the best I can come up with. Apparently I'm so blind by my love for the character I can't see why he sucks so bad. Regardless, I still like the figure and the paint the way it is. I certainly don't think it's perfect, but it's good enough to warrant a purchase from me at least.

And just because Scud was an easy design to sculpt, that doesn't mean they shouldn't be given credit for creating a solid sculpt.

So, I picked up their Kabuki figure at a con a few months ago, and it's not completly terrible. There was a problem with the joints sticking, and since it was the switchable hands that stuck, and female figures have thin wrists, that almost resulted in an irreprably broken figure, so, you might want to work on using stronger plastics for the small parts, Shocker, and make sure they can be moved and switched with out breaking, or offer some really good customer service for when they do break. That said, soaking her in hot water did the trick, but I'm still very careful with her hands. Her face sculpt is probably the best I've seen for an Asian character, so props on that, and her mask stays on quite well, without being hard to remove, but I would have preferred to have her weapons be transferable, rather than permanently affixed to her hands. Keep your attitude in check on these forums, try and get your product out on time, and work on some mainstream distribution, and maybe, just maybe, someday Marvel will come to you, after realizing what a horrible mistake Hasbro was.
