I know that this goes without saying but dammit I’m going to say it. Just like The Mandalorian and WandaVision this looks cinematic.
Yeah, the action felt film quality to me. Glad if this is going to be the standard for streaming shows.

The aerial/skydiving action piece was awesome to watch and great way to open the series

After that, the episode turned into a bit of a slow burner but it was nice to see where Sam & Bucky are exactly post-Endgame. Poor Bucky still dealing with the trauma of when he was a Hydra stooge and trying to make amends.

Cool to see Rhodes make an appearance

Glad this episode was close to an hour in length. Hope the remaining episodes are just as long

So Bucky had four sisters. Good to know.

Yeah, that’s kind of what I wanted. Show some early film-level action to let us know the quality we’re getting on that front, and then get in there with character work to build the foundation for the rest of the show.

Really enjoyed all that quiet disappointment from Rhodey. He was trying to gently encourage Sam without forcefully pushing the issue.

Bucky making friends with Yori was his guilty conscious. His realization there was pretty rough.

I find Joaquin Torres rather annoying. He's lucky he didn't get his spine shattered or broken in half. I hope he doesn't become the new Falcon later on. Now, he's basically Falcon's sidekick.

Glad they brought back Georges St-Pierre as Batroc.

The character drama was great this episode. That therapy scene with Bucky and Dr. Raynor was really intense and trippy with that camera work and the closeups.

forgot that jackman was back doing the score, was nice continuity with the character beats

also glad GSP survived, hope he shows up again every so often

bucky character development was nice surprise. solid A+ start

I liked the Bayou/Louisiana style music.

This is definitely a unique series that will be both action packed but also very character driven.

Bucky is dealing with making right his past as the Winter Soldier, while also trying to live in a world that's has changed dramatically.

Sam has a somewhat unique position as he's considered a member of the hero society due to his association with the Avengers. But he's also has government contacts to fly in as an areal support covert fighter . The difference is he's meant to be something more especially since Steve asked him to take up the shield.

I love the unique approach Captain America is being focused on in a post Endgame world. Steve has left a Huge legacy that no man will ever be able to live up too. The idealistic values as well as legendary leader he is.

Good first start with plenty of more to follow

I enjoyed seeing Batroc again, Rhodes in uniform. Can't wait to see Zemo, Sharon and so many more surprises too follow down the road.

I thought it was a solid start.

I liked the Smithsonian scene, the scenes with Sam and his sister and the bank loan, especially liked Bucky’s therapy session. The action and the visuals looked A1.

Can’t wait to see the chaos US Agent causes.

The opening was spectacular as good as any high budget action movies but somehow I’m more drawn to the character driven drama sequences afterward. A very, very solid premier. I liked it more than I had expected.

Torres was an unexpected delight IMO. He's a pretty unique character as far as the MCU goes. He's like Peter Parker mixed with Rhodey.
I feel like he's not long for this world, though. Would love to be wrong.
