Falcon and Winter Soldier Season 1, Episode 3: "Power Broker" (SPOILERS)

Best episode yet!

Loved seeing Zemo teaming up with them, loved Madripoor and Sharon was kicking ass.

Also, this is easily one of the best MCU moments for me:

I don't think Zemo being a Baron and him leading Sokovia's black ops squad is contradictory. It's only a soft reboot in the same way that Wanda always having powers is a soft reboot. It wasn't planned that way from the beginning, but it's believable.

Yes. Members of a country's royal family serving in the armed forces isn't exactly unheard of. Both Prince William and Prince Harry served in the British Military and even did tours of duty in Afghanistan.

Definitely the best episode so far. LOVED the return of Zemo and getting to see him team up with Sam and Bucky. Sharon was great too and I appreciated that after the massive, effects-heavy action set-pieces we got in the first two episodes, the action here was (quite literally) more grounded.

Also, I guess
Karli really is evil?

With the amount of Wakandan references, not shocked seeing Ayo show up. Now wants interesting if she is going to mention Tchalla

Jesus this is so good. Loved how everything went from 0 to 100 in this episode. Loved Madripoor and the light John Wick vibes in that part, and Brühl as Zemo is a freaking global treasure. Sharon looks like she's been through some **** and is up to no good. Also pleased to see Wakanda involved in this whole mess! As always I have got to hand it to Marvel Studios for how they handle every production to be different but still playing in the same sandbox. This and Wandavision could not be more different. I read that some people found this ep a bit rushed and I can see that, but I believe this feeling is heightened by the fact that this series really feels like one long movie cut in six parts.

Zemo stole the show in this episode but I did have to laugh at Sam’s getup in Madripoor. I know it was established that he looked like the guy he was impersonating, but he should have at least worn shades or something. Him being recognized as an Avenger could have blown the whole thing right off the bat.

Ayo showing up is an unexpected surprise.

Also a plus, they finally found a way to make Sharon interesting.

So was Nagel the "Dr. Reinstein" responsible for Blonsky's Weapon Plus serum too? In the comics Reinstein is an alias of Nagel's

I liked how they worked the falcon pimp identity from the comics into the plot.
Sam not being as worldly line made me laugh.

I also liked that zemo's European nobility backstory from the comics was used. Nothing about his background contradicts his previous appearance. Zemo remains a Dangerous Strategic master. His background adds to his arsenal since him being rich means he has more resources.

Sharon is still working for the CIA I believe and her madripoor art dealer act is for cover.

Madripoor looks great. Has that blade runner look.

I like the explanation for why the new super soldiers aren't shredded.

Lots of foreshadowing in this episode. Specifically when Zemo talks to Bucky. Saying "something is still in there" and wanting to end the Winter Soldier program.

I think they're setting up an eventual confrontation between Zemo and Bucky where he tries to either kill him or initiate the WS in him to kill Sam or something.

Erin Kellyman is better here than she was in Solo: A Star Wars Story.

I wonder how many times they had to shoot this scene without cracking up. Lmaooo.

As much as I laughed at that scene, I hope the implication is not that Bucky was used for sexual favours along with his fighting skills.

Just because there's already so much trauma. I'd hate to see them add that too.
