TRUTH – While sitting in the stands at the high school football game, Lois (Elizabeth Tulloch) and Chrissy (guest star Sofia Hasmik) spot fish out of water Morgan Edge (Adam Rayner) conversing with Mayor Dean and Kyle Cushing (Erik Valdez), and the two see right through this insincere move to try to win over the town. Meanwhile, Clark (Tyler Hoechlin) agrees to help Lois out at a town hall meeting, but things get tense when he finds himself pulled in two different directions. Lastly, Jonathan (Jordan Elsass) is having mixed emotions about Jordan’s (Alex Garfin) newfound status. Emmanuelle Chriqui, Inde Navarrette, Wolé Parks and Dylan Walsh also star. (#104). The episode was written by Michael Narducci and directed by James Bamford. Original airdate 3/16/2021.

Edge's British accent now is like a fish out of water.

So Jordan's gonna become the popular one, it sounds like. Maybe his powers help him get on the football team or something.

Chrissy is going to be the show's equivalent to Chloe Sullivan.

Chrissy is going to be the show's equivalent to Chloe Sullivan.

Is she that editor at the Smallville Gazette? They should've just made her Chloe. Was she meant to be related to Lois in Smallville?

Im pretty sure that Chloe is permanently retired. No reboots or anything of the character.

Regardless of who the person Allison Mack is like in real life, personally, I never liked the Chloe character on Smallville. She got far too much center-attention in season 5. She had no role in the Superman mythos yet we got these Chloe-centric episodes focusing on her meteor ability or when she was possessed by Brainiac.

I think the only interesting part she had to play in was being the Watchtower. Season 5 was so dull because almost every scene Clark had dialogue with another person other than himself, was just Chloe most of the time. Clark had more friends before. Pete, Lex...Jason Teague to some extent.

I'm glad Superman and Lois are not fooling around with moving stories forward like certain past Superman shows.

Definitely liked Mad dog Lane standing up too Edge. Now she just needs to one up him.

Really glad they're addressing his absence from Metropolis. I was just thinking the other day that a way they could do a Brainiac arc on this show would be to just start with having Metropolis vanish overnight and have Clark/Lois investigate (along with the rest of the world) while Clark grapples with his feelings of guilt for not having been there.

I feel for Lois she's not being selfish, she understands Clark. But the reality is She's married to Superman and his responsibilities .

Yeah they said they aren't doing "freaks of the week" on this show though, so I'm assuming whatever's happening to him ties into Edge's super-powered henchmen.
