Discuss the new episodes premiering March 25, 2025.

Apparently episode 5 is the only untouched episode of the original incarnation. It definitely felt like it, too.

The bank robbery episode was a bit all over the place but, ultimately, a satisfying episode nonetheless. I guess it makes sense that it’s from the original incarnation. I like Det. Kim; wish it was Mahoney but I’ll manage lol

It still strikes me as odd that Fisk is keeping Adam as prisoner. It just doesn’t seem like something his character would ever do; his whole speech in the original series about not being “cruel for the sake of cruelty.” But maybe that’s the writers’ point— he’s become a monster.

My feeling is that Mahoney at this time is a federal agent.

Yeah episode 5 was alright, felt like a bit of filler and hearing that it's the only episode untouched from the original makes a lot of sense. The Khamala stuff was a bit much, like we got it, don't need to hammer it home.

Other than some pacing issues, I enjoyed both episodes, but especially episode 6. I wanna know more about Muse, his motivations, etc, I could see episode 7 being a bit of a backstory episode.

Things are picking up! Hopefully they nail these last few episodes.

Another great pair of episodes
I enjoyed the filler episode, felt very much like an episode of an actual tv series, and Mr. Khan is always a treasure. Intrigued to know why they were after that diamond too. And I really hope we get Matt’s dinner with the Khans in the season epilogue.
Episode 6 was pretty great, Muse came off suitably creepy, although it seems theyre ditching his “sensory black hole” powers for the show… and it was nice to finally see Matt and Fisk embrace their true selves.

The theory is that

Bastian, played by Hunter Doohan is actually Muse

Also I want to see Matt interact with Jack.

Detective Kim.....based on how she is now she would get the same treatment from Frank Castle as Brett Mahoney.

Also, I am sticking with Officer Cole North as Hector's killer.

Loved both episodes, but yeah, can totally tell that the 5th ep was part of the first version of the series and it did feel a bit like filler episode. Best line of the series so far: "F*** it."

Yeah I also thought both episodes were pretty great and honestly I didn't have any problems with the pacing at all but maybe that's just me. I just really appreciate how character driven this show is and that they aren't afraid of taking time to actually develop and build up these characters.

Now I wouldn't complain if we did get more DD action sprinkled throughout but at the same time they've done such a great job with Matt's character dealing with Foggy's death so when that payoff actually comes towards the end of episode 6 it actually feels satisfying asf.

Filler episodes or not I want to spend as much time with these characters as possible because I'm that invested.

I enjoyed these last two episodes quite a bit. Looking forward to see where it all goes.

I'm watching episode five right now, and man this is generic as hell. If it wasn't for Charlie Cox this could be any random network cop show. And I laughed out loud that they tried to act like showing Kamala's dad was a reveal.

Yeah Episode 5 felt like a traditional Disney+ show, a lot of characters we had never met before so hard to get invested but it was fun none the less, but didnt really have much to do with the main plot, very much a filler and very jarring (blatant MCU cross over and Funko Pop adverts, really) to the episodes either side, still some nice action at points. Probably the weakest so far but hearing its the only untouched episode of the original show makes a lot of sense.

Episode 6 though was much MUCH more like it and what you come to expect from this now and its good to have DD and Kingpin back at the same time, they way they choreographed the two fights to intertwine with each other even though in two different locations was brilliantly done, we are so back.

Didnt expect the Muse stuff to be dealt with so quickly he didnt seem all that hard to find for Matt in the end but at least theres the chance me might return and get more in the future.

By the way the suit has never looked better as well.

Listen, I wish it was Kamala’s mom instead of her father but dammit I enjoyed episode 5 just as much as I did episode 6.

If you’re gonna give a filler episode, do it like that, I was still biting my nails. Thought the dialogue with the Irish bank robbers was darkly funny af.

But Matt just saying “f it” and putting the suit on and finally kicking the creepy Muse’s ass and Kingpin being Kingpin was all great.

Whenever Matt and Fisk do the Roman Reigns in a fight:
