[blackout]Claire[/blackout] finally! :D

I'm getting the impression that Cottonmouth's only gonna be our villain for the first half of the season or so. The way they're building up Diamondback, it seems like he's gonna swoop in and take over at any moment.

Also I love how squishing guns is becoming Luke's signature move, lol.

Lol
Claire kicking ass
I love it.

Continuity Error!

Claire talks to her mom about the hospital attack in DD season 2- but in DD season 2 the events in LC had already happened

I'd have to go back, but I feel you are mistaken. Pretty sure all of this is after Daredevil Season 2. In Daredevil Season 2, Claire was talking about what happened in Jessica Jones.

I'm going to assume you're just going off Charlie Cox's comments, which I was initially doing as well, but after seeing the episode we're gonna have to assume he was wrong. It was never officially acknowledged in DD S2 anyway... besides a supposed cut on Claire's face (again, just going by Cox's word), but that could easily be dismissed.

she said she got into trouble for helping Cage. She wouldn't have gotten into any trouble for what happened in Jones. She also made it like her experience with him was more extensive than the one in Jones

Once again I believe you are mistaken. She could've gotten in trouble because she left her shift and helped smuggle a patient out of the hospital. I doubt it was OK for her to just up and leave like that while she was on her shift.

I'm going on the scene in the hospital when Claire tells Foggy that she got into problems for helping Cage. And as I'd mentioned to another poster- her run-in with Cage in JJ wasn't something she'd get into trouble over. No one likely even knows about it aside from her, Jessica and Luke

She snuck him out of the hospital, gone for a whole day. She would have gotten into trouble. And the way she sounded... honestly that's just Claire and the writers' exposition. Same with her writing in Luke Cage.

Dragon, you are wrong. She could've got into trouble for helping him because she left her shift.

Second, she's already quit from the hospital here. At the end of DDS2, she quit her job as a nurse. She's moved out of Hell's Kitchen and moved back to Harlem.

It's not a continuity error, and everything here is happening after DDS2.

Not likely given what was gotten away with in DD season 2 at that hospital. Anyway she would've mentioned Jessica in that instance as in "I got into trouble for helping two other super humans.."

Not really. Who is to say she would've mentioned Jessica Jones at all? There wasn't reference to an extensive history with Luke Cage. She was on her shift and she left and was gone for the whole day.

Here is my problem with you being stubborn on this. Why is it not likely at all she would get in trouble for that incident? What did she get away with in season 2 of Daredevil?

Keep in mind she was already on thin ice with hospital staff at that point, and she ultimately decided to quit anyway.

someone with Claire's seniority wouldn't have gotten into trouble for staying away for a day. She obviously took several days in DD season 1. And Luke likely wasn't even registered in the hospital

Is that a fact Doctor?

In Daredevil season 1 she wasn't blatantly cutting off and running away from her shift. She had days off available and she used them. I recall she mentioned that so she could lay low.

Claire literally resigns and explains such to her mom. There is no way she goes back to the hospital/Hell's Kitchen after the events of Luke Cage only to do... the exact same thing.

Sometimes there are plot holes or continuity errors, this was definitely not one of them. Everything lines up and made sense here.

so if she could take that much time off, why would she get into trouble for one day?

Moreover, you can see by the difference in her demeanor. In Cage, she's pretty upbeat and determined. In DD Season 2 she's withdrawn and fed-up. She doesn't want to have anything to do with super humans. I seriously doubt that someone as tough as Claire would be that upset over being balled out for missing one day

Because she was at freaking work and left her shift at the hospital without telling anyone Dragon! In what universe do you think that would be OK! If you are at work and you just leave without notifying your supervisor it's not OK!

You are making no sense. She wasn't upset about being balled out. She was upset that the hospital administration was going to cover up what happened to her colleague and was not going to tell the truth.

She was confident and determined here because she knew what she wanted to do. She was that way because of what happened in DDS2. Now she's decided she wants to use her abilities as a nurse to help people with super powers because of her previous encounters with them.

It was quite obvious that Claire was referring to events of JJ in DD season two. There is no continuity error there at all.

Yeah she was talking about the incident in JJ S1E13. nothing more, nothing less. Very simple.

Another decent episode but great perfomance again from Mahershala Ali.

In DD season 2 shes says :"I got this shift from hell because I helped another friend doing good..." In JJ Cage was not yet her friend, and he sure as hell wasn't doing good at the point that she encountered him. She was speaking of the events in Cage.

Alright episode, Cage getting people's stuff back was actually pretty cool and Mouthball was great again though.

I love Claire!
The beginning with her chasing down the mugger and Luke lifting the debris was sweet. I was wondering how long it'd take Shades to recognize Luke and there was a few more nods to the MCU in this episode.

Luke's speech was excellent and I really like Bobby Fish. One of the better episodes so far and much better than episode 4.
