Daaamn, Vanessa is really something.
Coincidentally, I’ve been continuing my DD reading and I just finished ‘The Devil in Cell Block D’ and ‘The Devil Takes a Ride’ (Brubaker run). Really seeing the influence from those stories in this show.

Next week is going to be a wild ride.

Bullseye doesnt know Matt is DD, right? Or does he?

Last I checked he does not.

And yet...you'd think he'd put two and two together, right? When he killed Foggy, the way DD screamed in agony, Dex HAD to have known Foggy nelson was Daredevil's friend.

Since they are going to be back for season two, I sense that the Anti-Vigilante Task Force is going to cause public relations nightmares for Fisk, because these guys seem like they will shoot anybody in costume, even non-vigilantes.

I can also see them causing a rift with other law enforcement, especially those with ties to the street level heroes, although their current statuses are unknown. I am referring to Brett Mahoney, Misty Knight, Eddy Costa (main cop in Jessica Jones) and Dinah Madani as well as Cherry and Angie Kim. I don't think Costa, Mahoney and Knight are with the NYPD anymore, with Costa probably retiring and the other two possibly federal agents or (as with the case of Misty) a PI. When we last saw Madani, she just joined the CIA. Whether or not she's still there as of the events of this series is unknown.

People online are saying Matt purposely attacked Dex knowing he’d get free to get Fisk which is ridiculous. There is absolutely no way Matt would willingly help Bullseye get free and unleash him in the public. Matt was simply losing control and letting rage out, which hes been doing all season.

Wow the entire second half and the last 10 minutes of this episode was intense asf. Now I get all the pre hype and why this was so many people's favorite episode of the season. I'm just glad to see Bullseye back in action and creating all kinds of havoc for Matt.

I was a bit worried he would only show up in the premiere and we wouldn't see him again this season but thankfully I was wrong. I still hope we see plenty more of him going forward though.

He's coming back for season two.

What a difference a Bullseye make's.

Gripping episode from start to finish, this had so much more going on in it and that ending damn, Matt literally taking the bullet for Fisk, madness.

The stuff with the ladies was really well done, Vanessa was great putting the "past" behind her and then all the stuff between Matt and Heather was great also as their relationship is falling apart after Muse, actual consequences and Heather struggling to come to terms with what she did while Vanessa feels free because of it.

Daniel as well is getting better as a character each week also and making his own moves, interested to see where that leads.

But Bullseye, takes the crown man, every scene with him was intense, the interview room with Matt, the escape, he was like the god damn Terminator at the end at the ball, just can not be stopped. Never been happier to have a character back, the actor is so good as him and is a great foil for Matt and Fisk.

Next week is going to be something...

Dexter maneuvering his way out, by triggering the beating from Matt, free and a loose canon again was glorious.

Yeah, definitely a great episode
Had Matt been in the costume more this season, I would not have slightly minded we didn't see it this episode
Still didn't really care, mind you, I'm just antsy for more proper DD action

I don't love angry Heather. I get why she is, trauma and all that. But I feel like she hasn't had enough screen time to really feel the impact of what happened to her and truly empathize. But Matt was also acting like a nut this episode so I can't fault the character.

And yeah, this is the most I've ever liked Dex, didn't fully connect with it in season 3 but I like this portrayal a lot better.

Really, really loved this episode.

Whenever Fisk puts on something white, just expect it to get bloody and for things to go sideways.

Matt and Vanessa's dance and the whole "Does he know you killed Foggy?"/"Does she know you're Daredevil?" exchange was everything.

Dr. Heather was working my nerves, but as the in the dark girlfriend to a superhero, she was just doing her job lol.

I rewatched Into The Ring a few days ago just to get a small refresher on what it did differently to Born Again and what felt off to me about Born Again. What I realized is that not just the general filmography and dialogue writing was more engaging, the editing and pacing was genuinely stellar.

That episode is the first time, this entire season, that the editing and pacing felt right. 10 out of goddamn 10
