Black Lightning Season 2, Episode 6: "The Book of Blood: Chapter Two"

Well, I agree with Anissa's statement last week. Aw hell no.

Good episode. Looker is super creepy. Someone who could possibly challenge Tobias for great villain. Though, Tobias remains at top. I did love the fight he had with Kahlil. And glad that Kahlil is coming to his senses.

I am glad that there is a new villain for the show. As formidable as he might be, another whole season of just Tobias as the central baddie would be a stretch for me. While I am glad for a new villian, the story of the Prudis and the Sanjays seemed to have come out of nowhere. I mean, they have been around Freeland for so long relatively undetected and no-one knew of them?

"I ain't gotta do nothing but stay Black and die!"

The Perdi and Sange stuff is so weird. But, I think it's just the facial CGI that creeps me out the most. The other stuff about their history is interesting. Makes one to think of various towns in the South that have that kind of segregation and the effects being felt up to today. I'm happy that Jefferson might not being the only kid to have survived the vaccination 30 years ago.

I was thinking Tobias was gonna do something to Khalil's spine.

I love how much George Clinton music they use to score this season. :D
