The first 15 minutes of the first episode would be the culmination of anyother Disney+ series. And they did it in the first 15 minutes. Goddamn, what a television show.
The meeting between Luthen and Dedra was pitch perfect. The tension of them maintaining the subterfuge, and then when all pretenses were dropped. And Dedra Meero ****ed up the catching of Axis just like that. Guess Syril did rub off on her.
I fully expected Luthen to go out in a blaze of glory, to keep him from being taken and to take out others. And honestly, a failed suicide followed by Kleya finishing him off, sacrificed for the Rebellion much as he had sacrificed so many others. And adding the back story, among so many GOT filming locations, made it hurt. Hurt so good.
And I guess Luthen did keep his word to Lonnie. The quick way to keep his family safe. I should have expected it, but it caught me off guard.
And honestly, if Dedra's fall from grace comes from actually finding Axis, but screwing it up while also breaking a bunch of rules? Perfect end to her.
And now. onto the quest for Stardust.
