I'm hearing that Agents of SHIELD might be getting only one more season, since it's been ordered, but that the show is carrying the story into a spinoff called Most Wanted.

Interested?

I'd not want AoS to burn out, but go out on a good note. Most Wanted could be neat? Have no idea what it's about, obviously, but the title is intriguing. If you have any news, speak up. Would love to chat about it. Obviously. Heh.

The ratings don't justify a Spinoff
and I highly doubt this show would pull in more viewers than AoS

I don't get how Marvel TV on ABC is so clueless when they're firing on all cylinders on Netflix

There's got to be some sort of network involvement that is holding a great brand down...or maybe positive involvement from Netflix that is making a subpar brand better.

I'm also starting to fear that the main show is doing PR damage to the upcoming Inhumans film.

I do think that Marvel should have a tv presence, but they need a major overhaul.

What I think they should do is kind of copy American Horror Story...where each season is a full story (except obviously all of the stories would take place in the MCU). That way, they could promote each season as an event. If a character was popular, they would be free to join the movies (the claim is that tv characters aren't used in movies because of scheduling issues and the fact that movies would be filmed before the next tv season was even written) or used again later.

^ Omg, I considered that about Inhumans. I'm wondering if they'll cancel to cool the heals on Inhumans stuff, honestly.

I think the show hasn't been too solid, to be honest. It's just been kind of neat. I think season 4 should be the last, but maybe no Most Wanted in the future. How about a Agent Carter amount of episodes and feel things out? That'd be better. I like it being split into The Wire style or AHS. Each seasons is a series by itself. Even with its own subtitle.

Sorry, but Gideon Malick does nothing for me as a TV villain. He pales in comparison to Fisk and Killgrave. Also 100% certain that Cottonmouth and Mariah Dillard (the upcoming baddies in Luke Cage) will be 1000 times better than Malick. I hope Malick will not be back for season 4.

The way things are shaping up, I think he won't make it past this season, so we can have a new enemy. This show does a great job of setting up season-long foes (or half-season-long foes) who end up beaten by the time the season ends.

And the new enemy for next season will be nothing compared to the Netflix villains.

Ward was awesome and Hive look pretty good so far.

I'm sorry, Garrett and Mr. Hyde were both as fun as Kilgrave, with Whitney Frost being another fine example from the ABC side. Although I am bias towards liking a certain type of villain (Fisk was obviously a very well acted role and they put time into properly building the character but just didn't interest me) which helps these guys stand out to me, I'd still say they have just as much put into them as your netflix antagonists. They have background, motivation, personality, etc and it all flows together and makes sense.

Marvel/ABC are out of their skulls if they go through with the spin off after both SHIELD and Carter absolutely tanked this year. The audience has rejected the spy drama Marvel shows. They need to accept that and move onto more traditional comic book adaptations.

Also, by the time the Inhumans movie comes out we will all be "Inhumaned" out due to this show. They need to realize that not every comic book hero they introduce in the series should be Inhuman. None of the Netflix heroes that have been or will be introduced are Inhuman, although Matt Murdock has enhanced senses and Iron Fist will probably get his powers on his series and Luke got his powers via experimentation (Jessica might have to, although I'd have to rewatch season one to find out). Also, Misty Knight is coming to Luke Cage soon and we'd expect her to get her bionic arm at some point, either in Luke Cage or Iron Fist.

The show is obsessed with Inhumans. So much so that they have to make their own Inhumans since the Royal Family is off limits.

Carl Creel in AOS isn't Inhuman and have powers.

This is something I really don't understand. So far they made up

  • Raina
  • Lincoln
  • Yiaying
  • Gordon
  • Alisha
  • Eva Belyakov
  • Katya Belyakov
  • Joey
  • Lori Henson
  • Shane Henson
  • Dwight Frye
  • Giyera
  • Lucio
  • Androvich

and a whole bunch of extras in the background who didn't undergo Terrigenesis yet. While at the same time, almost none of the Inhumans from after the Terrigenesis outbreak will ever appear in the MCU, even though they easily could:
http://marvel.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_New_Inhumans

Or the inhumans from the delegation who had their own volume in the late 90s/early 2000s, who pretty much haven't been used since
latest

Or pretty much any of the dozens of other obscure inhumans that will never be in the movies.

Other than that, I don't mind that they make inhumans out of mutants (Eden Fesi) and characters with explanations as lazy as "their fathers have altered genes, so somehow that gives the daughters completely unrelated seemingly random superpowers" like with Daisy and Yo-Yo. But it shouldn't get out of hand. For example, I see no reason for Hive to be inhuman. He could easily just be an alien, which I think would've made him more interesting.

I just realised that Lash is the only inhuman from the comics on the show.

Season 4 will be crazy with the Agents of SHIELD dealing with Inhumans and the aftermath of Civil War and Doctor Strange

And the new enemy for next season will be nothing compared to the Netflix villains.

What??? really they are differnt types of villians!!Netflix are street level villians!! They don't even come on the radar with shield!! Honestly Hive will be a powerful villian!! Malick is the true Hydra Boss!!

Already tired of HYDRA.

And I expect in season four, the producers will make up at least 100 more Inhumans just for the show.

I like Bobbi and Hunter, a lot actually, but I really have no interest in a show with just those 2 in. What makes them so good on AOS is their interactions with everyone else, so taking that away is a bad idea.

Personally I think they should just scrap MW and continue with them in AOS.

Agents of SHIELD might end, and then the entire cast transfer over to Marvel's Most Wanted as supporting players to Bobbi and Hunter. :o

I just read somewhere (can't find the link now) that Taskmaster might be the main Baddy in the Bobbi and Hunter spin-off

If that's really the case then this show is going to automatically become must-watch for a lot of people.

Yeah it would! I wonder how close he'll be tho. If he'll be a combination of a couple villains and if he'll have received his powers via Terigin.

I saw a casting announcement that some actor will be playing a well known character from the comics (because apparently ratings are so awesome that they still dont feel the need to hype comic character appearance) and I immediately assumed that it was more likely to be Egghead than Taskmaster.

they better not make Taskmaster an Inhuman!
