When Loras was begging Margary to just 'make it stop,' I was afraid she was going to mercy-kill him or something...

Was not a huge fan of the episodes ending. I always thought that fireproof thing should have been a one time thing. In my opinion it should have been. Or she could have been immune to her dragon's fire since they were born from the same flame. Being flat out immune to fire lacks that darker tone other supernatural aspects have in this world.

They definitely have a few scores to settle: their garrison slaughtered at Moat Cailin, Yara's commandos, and Theon's mutilation! And if Ramsay is forced to retreat to the Dreadfort or Cailin after Winterfell falls, then both of those sites are vulnerable to sea attack. Their next problem is the kingsmoot and Euron so I'm not sure how quickly they can join the fray in the North...

She showed immunity (or resistance) to heat and fire in a couple of other instances prior to Drogo's funeral pyre. The Blood of the Dragon is like some kind of gene that may only show up in certain Targaryens, or Dany is just a mutant, or she's possibly blessed by the Red God in some way.

While I love the dramatic outcome this week and its implications on the story to come, there are some problems in how it played out and one of these is that being fireproof is not also proof against falling, burning timbers, smoke inhalation, and lack of oxygen.

I recall her standing in a hot tub. A really hot tub. I always just saw that as a way with dealing with her not all that great life. Like how some people get high off cutting them selves. Danny never seemed stable to me.

It was scalding and she was warned that it was still too hot before entering it. The next instance was when she placed a dragon egg on hot coals then gripped it. Her servant rushed in and burnt her hands on it but then saw that Dany's were completely unburnt in contrast to her own 1st or 2nd degree burns.

That's not true, I just can't ignore the flaws and drop of quality. It has affected my viewing enjoyment and I'm more than happy to discuss it.

I mean, you cannot seriously consider that anyone would watch 50 minute episodes just to talk about the negativity? :loco:

I liked the High Sparrow scene, if you care to know.

It is in the book, but the books are the books and the tv show is the tv show. What bothered me about the scene was how all the great Khals we're just panicking and they seriously didn't have anything to put the fire out? A culture that rapes and parties and burns villages, and their very own capital doesn't have anything incase a drunken Dothraki does something stupid?

But the biggest question is, why would the Dothraki follow a "Fire Witch"? I'm hoping someone challanges her next episode.

Almost teared up at the reunion of Stark kids. Still hoping Rickon didn't come back just to die... like Osha. :csad:

Cracked up at the reveal of how close the targets were for Robin.

I low-key thought the fire scene was with a body double, but I was wrong...

Game of Thrones: Emilia Clarke on that epic nude scene

    This cracked me up too.

Dat ending! :wow: I don't even care that Dany shouldn't've been able to survive the smoke and falling timbers, it was that awesome.

Jon and Sansa together. :hrt: Sansa ready to kick some Bolton ass. :hrt: that Pink Letter was so Ramsay, BTW. :funny:

I'm sad that Osha's gone. She and Ramsay could've made quite the couple.

I feel that Tyrion will be given a reality check re the Masters. The Mereen storyline will probably end with Dany showing up with Drogon and her Dothraki, whereupon she'll burn all the Masters up and head for Westeros.

Davos doesn't know how Shireen died yet, but that info is out there, and is ticking away like a time bomb.

Is Daenerys completely fire proof or only when she turns that power on?

So yeah, Rickon is pretty much dead meat at this point. He's also pretty much the only member of the Stark family who has no actual agency in the story.

She just had to have prepared the place in advance, spread some oil -or whatever flammable liquid or powder they have- around before the meeting.

Look how the flames leap up the stairs:

I assume the basins she overturned were oil basins. When they hit the ground the oil poured out and the fire lit it. Its like what happens if you throw an oil lamp on the floor.
