Season 6x8: The Last Temptation of Barry Allen (Part 2) Midseason Finale

But Cisco's plan was working until Dark Flash intervened... Oh well, nevermind.
It was a good episode, except for Joe telling his people to not use full force. Kind of ensures you are going to lose all your people.
Liked Flash being able to influence Bloodwork, and it neatly explained why he wasn't turning them into blood-zombies at the speed of lightning.
When he turned into that big monster at the end though it was part cringy but also a bit cool looking with that skull head. Kind of wish he'd just died at the end though. Would have been a bit poetic for him to die after doing all this just to try and cheat death.

 

That ending before the Crisis. Could Earth-1 be the first one to be destroyed?

 

Could be a protective shield monitor puts up

 

No, because Earth-2 has already been destroyed.

 

Yeah but none of the main heroes were there, if your right which you probably are they'll most likely bring earth 1 back at the end of the crossover

 

I keep thinking a speedster of some kind created from crisis.

 

Earth-1 won’t be erased, though it looks as though Earth-38 will be.

Maybe they’ll get Godspeed right. His tease hasn’t paid off yet.

 

I feel like earth 38 will be the first casualty to show the team this is serious business. But I'm still wondering if they bring everybody to one earth when its all said and done or everyone goes back to there earths pending there still around.


On godspeed so far the character has felt like how the mandarin in ironman 3 was treated which is not good. I want the real godspeed to be intimidating like zoom was.

 

I don’t see how an entire global population can be evacuated to another Earth. Resources damn it!

With any hope, Crisis will rewrite history (somewhat) and the person behind Godspeed will exist in the present per the comics, as an old friend of Barry.

 

That reminds me of the Sliders' episode 'World Killer.' Probably the only good episode of the entire series, though I used to watch that all the time when it first came on.

Like that. So far Godspeed has been a fleeting joke.

 

Is Nash Wells going to become Pariah? Is that what it's building to?

 

Yes! Or at least Tom Cavanaugh.

 

We already knew Tom Cavanagh was going to be playing Pariah though. So I wasn't asking about that, but specifically Nash Wells, since it could've easily been any other version of Wells that became him.

 

I think so.

 

Still no word at all on Harry Wells from Earth 2. I hope they explain that in Crisis.

Also are we not really getting Frost in Crisis? Is she going to sit that out and just be Caitlin?

 

the writers could have forshadowed godspeed as a future villain with the episodes we've seen him in so far...and the one we seen was an alternate and weaker version.

the comic version and the tv version are quite different, first off barry is way faster than godspeed in th tv show....barry outran him with ease and made godspeed look to be as much of a threat as the rival...not much of a challenge at all.

also in the comics godspeed was a friend of barry's who in terms of speed was a challenge but barry was still faster...so far not all what the writers put on the tv show are in line with the comics.

so either they bring godspeed back later and a different version or they are done with him and will move on to some other villain/storyline.

also godspeed in the comics was only fast because he kept stealing other speedsters speed....so techncially speaking his natural speed prior to stealing he would indeed be much slower than barry but in the comics he kept stealing speed just like zoom, another version of speedster on roids.
