Looks like Dinah gets her scar in this episode...

As I've been saying....Olicity baby is here and the Queens rule the future lol.

Have to say, Stanley was a far better villain than Cicada.

Sorry to say, I'm just watching right now by rote.

I only perk up when BS shows up and really zone out when they flash-forward.

I hope these future versions of Team Arrow appear in Legends.

We want to thank Echo Kellum for 4 seasons. Hope he appears for the Crisis crossover.

Not sure how I feel about Mia's last name being Smoak. Especially if William's is still Clayton. Really just feels like they're focusing on Felicity's legacy a heck of a lot more than Oliver's. Would it really have been so hard to name her Mia Queen? But of course not. I've always defended Arrow and felt that the "Felicity-centric" arguments are way overblown. But in this case...well, I have to admit, I feel like that was a misstep, even if a minor one.

Most likely Olicitys daughter and as stated, Diggles son who is to ashamed of himself to use his real name.
Well, you called it. ;)

Gotta' agree here. Much better acted too.

It's interesting (and worrying) that both Echo and Carlos (Cisco) aren't going to be around for their respective shows next seasons. I honestly don't see them being in Crisis. Would seem a bit pointless to bring them both back for the crossover when the roster will already be huge. If these two do make a reappearance at any point, it'll probably just be an episode or two here and there.

Didn't Oliver and Felicity get married, or did I imagine that? SHouldn't she be Felicity Queen by now anyway, and in turn, Mia should be Mia Queen? Though I suppose with Emiko Queen they don't want too many Queens on the show. Confusing. In any case, if Oliver and Felicity aren't married, presumably they never get married.

I find it interesting that Mia is against Vigilantes, and yet, her mother is (or was?) one. This episode would seemingly explain why Curtis isn't in any of the flash forwards either, though it doesn't explain why Oliver isn't in any of them. That's interesting in itself.

I hate how non chalant Arrow writes off characters. They've known Echo wanted out and had more then enough time to plan for his exit but in true Arrow fashion they barely spend any time on Curtis and they give him a half assed send off that is overshadowed by Dinah and even more so by Olicity/Mia reveal.

Apparently that will be addressed.

The direction of all these shows is a bit problematic even though the episodes have been better week to week.

I would have rather they lost Wild Dog than Curtis.

I'm struggling a little here; William left with his grandparents, and what? Never once spoke to Ollie or Felicity again? I can't fathom how, at no point did he know he had a sister - or even meet her. I suppose he could have been aware of a sister, but one that he never met, nor saw a picture of in his (or her) adult life? I find that strange.

He may have known he had a sister. But if the family has become too estranged, such as William never seeing Oliver or Felicity again in person, then he would have no reason to think this was his sister.

This appears to be a future where Oliver is gone, IMO.
Are you thinking Crisis on Infinite Earth's gone?

I can't quite fathom how Arrow would go on without Oliver Queen. If he does die in the next crossover during it's run in 2020, and the remainder of the show is about these other characters, it's undoubtedly going to be the final season. I can't see (enough) people tuning in once the [actual] Green Arrow is gone. Nobody wants a stand in.

That would be like Wally returning (full time) to take over from Barry and the Flash show no longer featuring Gustin. Would people really watch that?

They did say that they're deciding whether or not to renew for a ninth season by this May. So if they are considering killing off Oliver, maybe they're leaning toward cancelling. I still don't believe he's going to die in Crisis, but if he does, I would bet almost anything that season 8 would be the final season. Which I think would be a terrible mistake; there's still so much they could cover from the comics (i.e. Onomatopoeia). But it is what it is.

I'd give it a shot. I liked Wally and if Barry was gone there would certainly be a lot more for him to do. My main problem with the flash-forwards is that they seem to be shoe-horning in a second generation, while leaving us with snippets of heroes at the ends of their ropes, such as Dinah and Mad Dog. And showing us that they were utter failures in saving their city.

If they had started a brand new show with these characters, letting their characters build up rather than just dumping them into the mix, I'd probably be more inclined to be interested. That, and a more interesting main character, as in Oliver's son...

I could see Oliver receiving Barry's dead-but-he-got-better fate from the Crisis comics. The prison arc from this season could've even been a test-run for next season, to see if Team Arrow could carry their own story without Oliver for a few months.

They should've had Stanley kill Curtis and then slash Dinah's throat. Or maybe the other way round so that Curtis could cauterise her wound first. Then after he had done that he gets slain.

Maybe Stanley will get flattened by a steam roller in prison and start mailing himself around the world. :o

Yes. Also, I thought I saw whispering that Amell wants to quit? There seems to be no purpose for Emiko in the current storyline unless she is there as a potential successor.

Whilst I agree about Emiko (and it's interesting she hasn't been seen, or mentioned in the future scenes), I have always been under the impression that Amell was comfortable in the role. I know he's attempted to break out a bit, but the opportunities he's had haven't exactly propelled him to Hollywood fame.

So I guess Dinah is not the Black Canary anymore now.

How come Stanley didn't come after Laurel?

And just sticking him back in Slabside, that means he could escape again. Are we expecting to see him show up later on in the season towards the end?

Dinah is BC in the flashforward.

Laurel was in DC at a conference. I think KC was getting married during this episode

I meant that Dinah doesn't have her canary cry, so although she's a vigilante in the flash forward, she's just a costumed adventurer. She's not really Black Canary as such because she seemingly can't use the cry anymore.

Couldn't she just use the device that Sara and Earth-1 Laurel used?

I don't know. Maybe they misplaced it. Because people always forget how to do things in these shows that they knew before.
