Really digging the villains in this one.
I thought the train sequence was pretty exciting especially the climax with Diggle fighting Diaz. The Canaries team up was cool as well and this may be the best version of Laurel the show has done.
Still interested in where the island flash forward scenes lead to.
Well I enjoyed this episode a lot more then I did the premiere. A lot more going on, a nice focus on just about everyone.
While I am SO SAD that Felicity has to go back to her ponytail and dresses (it just seems like her costume at this point....) I was glad to see her consumed with rage and revenge to the point where it was messing with her work. It makes sense, I can dig it, and I am glad that she is trying every way she can to bring down Diaz. Though her coming to Agent Watson and being all "we gonna bring down the Dragon together!" just doesnt make much sense from Watsons POV. What has Watson been doing for the past 6 months? Catching Diaz should be high on her priority list and if it hasnt been....oh lawd.
Finally some good Black Siren work! While we still havent seen how she manages to get through her day2day job, we finally saw some remorse from her and addressing the whole Quentin travesty and the Vigilante "travesty". Though I hope this isnt the beginning of her losing her snark. Her fight scene with Silencer was enjoyable and seeing the Scream Queens work together was nice since at least they arent screaming at each other for a change. I really want to dig into the average day of Laurel and see her interact with the citizens of Star City who were both for and against Black Canary. Though I hope going to that safe house wasnt for nothing info wise.
The Longbow Hunters were enjoyable, mainly Red Dart. Her scene with the cop was fun and I need more of her. Shield guy was boring and his shield was ugly. Silencer has potential but I need to see more of her. Diaz doesnt seem like he learned anything from being with the LBH for 6 months. All he gained was a flame thrower.
This diet version of Civil War between Felicity/John is a lot better and meaningful then what we got last year and a big part is that both have fairly good points and they have a history. Though go figure that John spends a year being pissed he doesnt get to run around in Green and it took Oliver going to prison to be like "yeah....nope..not interested. Green isnt even my favorite color"
Oliver having to play dirty in prison is fun, I kind of want him to become a little bit corrupted or at least notice that he is and fight against it.
The flashfoward was interesting last episode but didnt do anything for me this episode. Hopefully when they get back to Star City the story can get really interesting.
Solid episode tonight! The prison storyline and the Longbow Hunters were my favourite part of the episode tonight. Also thought Diggle and Felicity’s conflict was handled better than I thought it would.
Flashfowards were meh but who knows, it could improve soon.
I'm glad the Longbow Hunters weren't all just offed at the end of the episode. They proved a formidable challenge and hopefully they pop up again.
Cool episode but, what's with this future version of William and the new actor playing Roy?
I'm pretty sure that's still Colton Haynes.
Didn't look like him but, I looked it up and, it's him. Weird.
Colton is wearing makeup to age him up.
And I totally missed the revelation that William is gay. Love it even though I wish he were a vigilante instead of another brainy gay since we have that already.
I missed that revelation
This was a pretty solid episode. Not as good as last week but still good. I like the Longbow Hunters and I'm glad that none of them got arrested. They seem like formidable foes and I'm sure they will all be defeated once Oliver is release from prison. I found the flash forwards to be a dull but I'm interested in why Roy is on the island and why he burnt that note.
Felicity was annoying, I understand her frustration but she came across like a petulant child.
The new showrunner has definitely helped get some new energy into the series.
Love the Longbow Hunters. Can't wait to see them again.
I liked this episode. The Longbow Hunters were the biggest highlight. They immediately were sold as being extremely lethal and not to be taken lightly. Their first appearance made clear just how threatening they were. Red Dart looked fantastic in that red outfit she was wearing.
Ollie in prison was interesting to watch, and it was cool how he pulled off that clever trick to get rid of the warden without committing murder.
Laurel had some cool scenes, and I liked how she and Dinah combined their sonic screams to break through Silencer's soundproof shield. Looking forward to seeing what happens next episode.
What revelation was that? When did that happen? I don't recall.
It would be funny if Oliver fake stabbed himself at the end but accidentally killed himself. That would be the end of that.
Good to see the two canaries teaming up to fight.
How much legal knowledge does this Laurel Lance actually have? Even if she swotted up, she wouldn't necessarily know the practical application of everything enough to do her job confidently or competently.
When William/Roy are sitting around the fire and he talks about his relationship issues.
What did he say exactly? I don't' remember that at all.
Something about his boyfriend
The longbow hunters are quite lame vilkains this season, fighting sucks too and their abilities are dumb and barely in it at all. Dragon is a bit boring and defeated early and too easily. Oliver still in prison and Green Arrow the wannabe one barely seen in this season. The show should be renamed Felicity as it seems to focus on her the most now and not Arrow. I like Felicity but I prefer her not to have a grudge it's not like her anymore. I thought the show was called Arrow? Not adventures of Felicity or Adventures of the former team. Why have wild dog or anyone in it if they aren't their hero characters too. Not even villain of week or anything anymore. I would stop watching it but I only watch it so i keep up to date to see Elseworld crossover with Batwoman whom I'm more excited to see most. This season is a bit boring unlike the other seasons. The future arc is interesting though maybe his son will become the new Green Arrow or something which I'm thinking it's leading toward. If it does rename show to Green Arrow for next season and have new Arrow and characters in it. I'd miss seeing felicity and Oliver actors in this but a new arrow taking over could be cool, new villains, new lair, new team.
