Do you really think it's new? It looks very familiar, but just not exact, I can't put my finger on it. It looks sorta like the pics from the CW TV promo spot, but Tom was a little heavier and with longer hair in those. However, as we all know, they are BIG fans of PS'ing all their promo pictures.

Either way, good to see Tom getting some well-deserved publicity.

This is definitely from last years (same black shirt) but I don't think it was ever used, until now.

And believe it or not...while the WB did some really bad stuff...with the CW the standart is even lower. If you would have seen half the PSD files I have you'd know. Even I can do better.

Well anything can be improved as long as you devote your time to it, but I'm not seeing where they PS'ed Tom like crazy, it's only some parts of the hair & the eyes, which they've almost always done.

Well, it's new to me. It may be from last year, and ps'ed, but at least it's something I hadn't seen before.

I know the quality of the CW posters is really low, in general, and Tom doesn't need any ps'ing, but I was looking forward to seeing some promo stuff with him again.

I'm actually glad that they are FINALLY ramming it home to people that, "HEY! This guy IS Superman." I think they've finally gotten to that point in CK's life on SV where they can take the gloves off and stop having to make him look like a teenager. It bodes well for the season. *hopes*

Then you probably don't know much about PS or pic manipulating. One look tells me it's the eyes, the hair, the cheeks and the throat/neck at least. I wouldn't even need to know the original pic to see that.

The PS thing CW is good at is maniping the promos to get rid of the bad parts like uneven skin, shadows, hair streaks and such. The final results look much smoother than the actors really are (like magazines do). Then again some don't require as much work as others.

The quality of the pic isn't the greatest, probably taken with a mobile phone, at least wait for a higher-res picture to locate the manipulations, because you could be seeing things that aren't there.

If they did modify the cheeks & the neck like you say, they're minor modifications, don't see why it matters so much.

Regardless, it still looks like TOM WELLING lol.
