what do I imagine for the last episode ?
I imagine that for the last season ( like the producers said ) Clark is in research of a secret identity and begin to wear glasses. Maybe because he had to use his power more and more to save people ( I think some of his actions have to go public, making him ill at ease and the lex luthor threat begins to be more and more dangerous since lex declared war against the traveler / future supes in " descent " ( I know michael rosenbaum isn't regular anymore but he may be use henchman. It's time for lex to work in the shadows likt in S : TAS or in lois and clark )
I imagine him to be tormented between his desire of helping people and what jor el calls " his destiny " on one side and his desire of living a " normal life ".
I can even imagine a scene in the fortress were clark tells jor el that " kal el is what i can do but clark kent is who i am ! " ( like in lois and clark ) Clark has to be reluctant in " fusfilling his destiny " and wearing the colors of the " el family " as a symbol to save the whole world.
In the last episode, Clark has to find a job in the daily planet were Perry White is now the new editor in chief.
And the last scenes has to be the resolution of clark inner struggle. the show must end with... the helicopter scene from superman 1. And to save lois, Clark has no other choice than abandonning the clark kent clothes and glasses...for the costume Jor El wants him to wear.
after the famous " You got me, but who's got you ", Clark feels embarassed that Lois may recognize him. He try to speack as much as he can to avoid any question about his identity but failed. At his great surprise, she only ask " who are you ! " and Clark, surprised, answered " a friend ".
In Lexcorp, Mercy Graves will say to Lex that he should looks at the TV to see the scene in the information and a creepy Lex will say, satisfied, " welcome traveler, now the game may begin "
Clark bring back Lois to the Daily Planet and when Perry, medused, asked Lois who is this guy and what is the signification of the S on his chest, Lois answered simply : " Superman " ( last word of the series who end with Clark flying in his new costume on the REM song " I am superman " )
