See God of War 3! What am I bid?

    Destructoid reports: "Sony's Santa Monica studio is auctioning off a chance for someone to become a videogame designer for the day. The winner of the auction will be able to bring along one guest and they will get a tour of the studio. The winners will also get a first hand look at the next game the Santa Monica studio is making for the PlayStation 3 (God of War III?!). All of the proceeds from the auction will be going to Big Brothers Big Sisters. The auction is currently at $375 and will end this coming Wednesday.

    I think this is a fantastic idea. The money goes to a well deserving charity and the winner will get to meet the game director and key designers from the studio".



    This game's graphics better be as good as the outstanding FMV graphics of the previous two.

    wow...bids will soar now that the release date has been announced. :(

    We were recently able to get confirmation for the release of God of War 3. After speaking to the developers at the Video Game Awards, they confirmed with us, that the long assumed date of 2009. The title will support 1080p graphics and will have both sixaxis and rumble support. Unfortunately, we have little more info that we care share with you at this date; however, please check back for updates, as new information comes in.

    UPDATE: I’ve been told we can name our source. He is the composer for the title, Cris Velasco

    2009 :( Thats so long away.

    Don't worry. Resistance 2 will come out to mediocre reviews and you'll forget what God of War even is.

    Well in his defence, resistance didn't get any mediocre reviews...

    Infact it scored higher than Mass Effect on your beloved Gamespot.

    Perfect Dark Zero didn't get mediocre reviews either. I wonder how these mediocre games, vital to the success of these big companies that might possibly be buying reviews, continue to get good reviews? Hmm...

    If it makes you feel any better, the fact that I'm here to gun down your thoughts or ideas makes me miserable. It probably makes WHF miserable too, if he ever stops and thinks about it. So you always have that.
