I'm surprised nobody has made this topic yet.

It seems Sega is getting in on the mini-console market, by releasing the Sega Genesis mini. What's really exciting about this is that it WON'T be a cheap AtGames product. This is designed by Sega themselves, and the emulation will be done by M2, a team that has a good track record emulating Genesis games.

The console ships this November for $79.99 and will have 40 games. What's REALLY exciting about this, is that third-party games by Konami & Capcom will be on this thing! The entire roster of games has yet to be unveiled, but we do know 30 of the 40 games confirmed to be on the system.

Sonic the Hedgehog
Sonic the Hedgehog 2
Sonic Spinball
Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine
Ecco the Dolphin
Toejam & Earl
comics Zone
Vectorman
Streets of Rage 2
Phantasy Star VI
Shinobi III
Space Harrier 2
Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle
Shining Force
Altered Beast
Golden Axe
Landstalker
Beyond Oasis
Super Fantasy Zone
Street Fighter II: Championship Edition
Earthworm Jim
Castle of Illusion starring Mickey Mouse
World of Illusion starring Mickey & Donald
Mega Man: The Wily Wars
Castlevania: Bloodlines
Contra: Hard Corps
Gunstar Heroes
Super Ghouls & Ghosts
Wonder Boy in Monster World
Thunder Force III

And there's still ten more games Sega has yet to unveil! I'm SUPER excited for this! What about you? What games do you want to see on this thing?

As far as Sega games I want to see, Sonic 3, Sonic & Knuckles, Kid Chameleon & Ristar are a must.

For third-party stuff, I really want to see Rocket Knight Adventures! That game was a blast! Aladdin too.

I'm not really a fan of sports games, but for some variety, toss in NBA Jam, I really liked that game. Played it a lot with friends back in the 90's. And you can't forget Mortal Kombat. Every 90's kid played that game!

Lastly, (and this is very unlikely) but I loved this game as a kid.. Tiny Toons: Buster's Hidden Treasure. This was an excellent platformer, that, in my opinion, was just as fun as a Super Mario or Sonic the Hedgehog game. Bright, colorful graphics, nice music, and very challenging.

Huh. I searched 'sega genesis mini' and there were no results.

My bad, I guess.
