Hey, all. I just wanted to post up here about my contemporary fantasy series, Sekhmet's Light. It's set in the modern day but deals heavily with Ancient Egyptian mythology. A friend of mine calls it Lara Croft meets Buffy. It follows a female archeologist, named Dr Nicole Salem who is chosen by the Ancient Egyptian war goddess, Sekhmet, to serve as her avatar on Earth. Gifted with a small portion of Sekhmet's divine powers, Nicole must combat the forces of the evil serpent god of darkness, Apep.
The third book of the trilogy has just been released for the Kindle and to celebrate, I'm sharing the first volume for free, starting tomorrow and going through Tuesday. The paperback edition and ebook for NOOK will be available soon as well.
