Probably a bit off topic, but I want to sell my comic collection and I figured perhaps someone could tell me the best place to do it.

I feel like on eBay, after I sell they get a % of my sale..then paypal does, so I'm not in favor of that. I know Comic stores give you a small fraction. I've tried googling for maybe a collectors site where I could sell in a forum, but haven't seen anything.

Any advice is appreciated.

The thing is... that unless you find someone looking for the exact comics that you have, you will never make the amount that they are "worth" in price guides... and I put that word in quotes because at the end of the day, a comic is only worth what someone will pay for it.

Comic shops will only give you 20% to 40% because they have to sell them... it only makes sense... and while you have to give certain percentages to eBay & PayPal, it certainly is a LOT less than a comic book shop... plus you can milk the S & H fees like everybody else does on eBay... :cmad: :cmad: :cmad:

Good luck...

:yay:

Very true on the eBay remark. I did just list on craigslist though, figuring I could give that a shot first. Keeping eBay in mind as a last resort. Also, I thought eBay put in a policy on how much you can charge now per each selling category for shipping to avoid sellers doing that? Maybe I'm wrong, haven't used eBay in about 5 months.
