James Marsters: I just finished a project for the 40th anniversary for the moon landing. I played one of the three astronauts. That was a big challenge to play someone how is still alive. But it’s been a great and exhausting shoot. Not many people can imagine that this expedition must have been hell for these three guys: uncomfortable and very dangerous. In Spring and Summer, I’m on tour in Europe. Check for dates and ticket on www.jamesmarsters.com. And then we’ll start shooting the second Dragonball movie. (grins) I’ve just heard that I can actually tell that there is going to be a sequel.
CH: Thank you very much.
:wow::csad:

1.) I wouldn't be surprised if it was direct to dvd.
2.) It won't be any better this is Fox.
3.) This is the same guy that spread tons of misinformation (100 million dollar budget, old and decrepit, blurred the lines between the story from the anime and from DB:E)
4.) This interview was published in May but we don't know if it was conducted before the movie was released or not.

This is far from "confirmation" as actors in the past have said they are working on a sequel, for the studio to quell down the claims later.

Seeing how the issue of this exact magazine is for June, Iam pretty sure its a new interview and was not conducted before the film released.

That doesn't mean anything. The magazine is the June edition but it was published/released in May.

Interviews and columns are usually written weeks or months beforehand. Not a single question gives the indication that they were asked after the film was released.

Hurm. If this is true, I'm definitely going to be more critical of the pics and info, unlike the last one. Look how that went...

Can't wait, loved the first movie, and am desperately wanting a sequel.

i know that the second movie will also suck...but i'm happy for the rebirth of this forum( if the rumours are true)

Hopefully Wong learned something will fix SOME mistakes.

do you guys think is there any chance for wong not to be involved this time?

A sequel to a one of the worst movies ever...wow...

What are they gonna do?
Vegeta as a transfer student from Britain?
Nappa as evil principal teacher?
And I bet Nappa will be played by either Stone cold or Goldberg.

:lmao: Most likely yeah. I can just picture that now.

Vegeta: "I SAW YOU KISSING HER! NO ONE KISSES MY GIRL LIKE THAT! YOU WILL DIE, YOU LIMEY BAH-STUD!!!"

Nappa: "GOKU! PAY ATTENTION! All right! Thats it! *rips off shirt* NOW YOU DIE FOR NOT PAYING ATTENTION!

I never thought DBE was too bad, and it got more right than it did wrong, quite honestly, but for a sequel if it's not rushed like DBE was it'll turn out a lot better.

I haven't seen the film so I won't judge the quality, but why make a sequel to something that only made 9 million dollars in america? (and 45 million internationally) What was the budget on this sucker?

James Wong confirmed the film cost 50 million. Some Chile newspaper said 45 million.

Awe man sad thing is I can actually see this idea happing :oldrazz:

But where does Goku's brother come in? He should come first since that saga happend, wait a minute none of this makes sense. If these two came in Gohan would have to be born. I mean I guess Goku and Chichi could have a kid in school or some thing it happens some times. None of the storyline makes sense, none of it, NO!!!! What they'd have to do is have this film be some what years later after Goku's first son is born. I honestly have no idea how they'll hanndle the kid, but at least he has normal looking hair so they won't be messing with that.

Nooooo I dont want a sequel
I just wanted this movie didnt exist, and now if we have one more DB movie made in Fox I said nooooooooooooooooo

Wasn't this the same guy that said that the budget was $100 million, that the US was getting a different 100 minute cut, and that the film was faithful to the manga/anime? At this point I think we need a better source than James Marsters.

I agree. He might be pretty enthusiastic about the source material but he's kind of unreliable.

By the way I think a sequel is quite unnecessary. Fox proved they can't handle a DB adaptation. So stop the torture please.
